This vet office was wonderful. It was a little higher than I expected but that could happen anywhere. The staff was great, helpful & loving. I took my beloved Jessie in to be euthanized. She was carried in by one of the staff and I stayed until after she was gone. They carried out to my car & I received hugs from them & extra tissues! I would recommend this office to all my friends. Is this the one closest to town? The vet sent me home with an i.v to give my cat water. They are not cat peope for sure!

Do not use this vet for cremation services. I personally wouldn't use this vet for anything at all, but I want to warn people because cremating your pet is a very sensitive issue and Mount Orab Vet will handle that sensitive issue with the upmost disrespect. They will offer you things like paw prints, nose prints and fur from your pet. Talk it up and tell you how great it will be. How the fur will be stored in a small glass jar etc then give you one paw print and lie to you afterwards. They'll also ignore you, blatantly and act as if it isn't a big deal. They truly do not care about people or animals. Please go anywhere else for cremation services for your pets. Faithful Companion is a lovely place that does the complete opposite of Mount Orab Vet. Mount Orab Vet does not care about you or your pet, they act like everything is an inconvenience to them and they handle situations incredibly poorly. Even minor ones. Hopefully this helps people avoid the stress my family experienced because of this vet. They are easily the worst. read more

I have used this veterinary office for over 40 years , Dr. Norvel was the only vet at the time. Since I started using them I have always been very happy with the staff and the vet. I use Dr. Hayes now and he is wonderful. I highly recommend them. read more

This "vet" is truly AWFUL Our family dog of 16 years had reached the end of his healthy life. We made an appointment to have him go peacefully. upon arrival we were told to take a seat and wait (we had to fill out some paperwork) There was urine all over the floor so we couldn't sit down. the receptionist was very rudest, ripping a clipboard away from me saying that wasn't the right one. After he was gone, they put his body in clear plastic bag after about 2 minutes giving us no time to mourn. and we were made to walk through the waiting room with all the other patrons watching us carrying our now deceased dog in a plastic bag sobbing... I would never encourage anyone to visit this vet especially going through losing a member of their family. NO COMPASSION NOT CLEAN RUDE read more

I came here to support a friend who was putting her beloved dog down. Every single staff member was helpful and kind. I listened carefully to how they treated others, both on the phone and in the waiting room. The vet herself was genuinely empathetic and took time to respect the gravity of the moment for my friend. I've been in many vet clinics in my life but rarely have I seen such a thoughtful, caring staff. It's easy to understand why they are not able to take on new patients, but the staff deserves to know their kindness and empathy is noticed and appreciated. read more

The front office is your first encounter with any business. A staff should be polite and willing to listen before speaking. The young adults working in this front office do not listen, they interrupt and speak down to customers. They magnify situations with attitudes of teenagers who want to be dramatic. I was not able to speak enough without being interrupted to get proper vet care for my animal. read more

There are plenty of vets closer to me than this vet. I always make the 40 min drive. Reasonably priced and great staff.

I am very disappointed in the office. I made an appointment for my dog to have her teeth looked at so we can schedule to have them cleaned. My appointment was at 10:30. I arrived at 10:20. At 11:00 I was still waiting to be seen, by 11:18 I asked them how long they would be to see me because my about was supposed to be 40 minutes ago. I explained to them that I needed to leave soon. My husband needed to leave for work and I needed to be home for our girls. They are 5 and 11 and are doing remote learning. The one young lady in the office was a bit passive-aggressive with me. She told me that I was told to "allow for a few extra minutes" I then stated that it had been almost 45 minutes. She said that I was not the only client and things happen. I said yes I understand but 45 minutes is not a few minutes. She she then kind of smirked at me and walked out the room. I left and was able to be seen by the vet. read more

This vet office really cares about your pet. They are honest and professional. It's never all about money with this place. I wish there were more places like this. I live in Cincinnati but will drive to this vet office because of their honesty and the fact that they truly do care about your pets health. read more
