This complex doesn't even deserve one star. I was without a proper working refrigerator for 10 weeks. That's a heck of a long time with a one and two year old. The maintenance man has to be the laziest man on the planet. Told me I had too much food in my refrigerator. Really?? There was a hole in my kitchen wall behind where the cabinets meet from June 7 to sept 15. Where they finally patched it. The vents reek of mildew and nothing is as it seems. HONEST, DETAILED REVIEW. My family and I moved here in mid-June 2016, and I'm thankful I'm not paying the going rate for our two-bedroom apartment (we got it for $750, normal rate is $800). I was going to post a review right off the bat, but decided to give it some time before doing that. Let's start with the good, shall we? LOCATION: Love it. About 20-30 minutes from Atlanta. Lots of restaurants, grocery options, and things to do nearby. OFFICE STAFF: Very professional and friendly. There are several glowing reviews on apartmentratings.com that mentioned Miss Dee, the owner, and she lives up to those reviews. Shawn is the leasing consultant, and he's professional as well. MAINTENANCE: Very responsive. Oven needed a gasket replaced and another unit was brought in the next day. Window in one of the bedrooms was broken and they fixed it immediately. Furnace filter needed changing, came out to change it the same day. COMMUNITY GROUNDS: generally clean and well-maintained. APARTMENTS: Lots of counter and cabinet space, plus a pantry. And now...the bad. APARTMENTS: some seem to be worse than others. Our bathroom was dirty when we moved in. The toilet hadn't been cleaned (safe to assume that the toilet seat wasn't changed), and the bathroom generally wasn't clean. The condition is good overall, though there's a couple windows that aren't sealed properly, and subsequently, bugs are able to crawl in. I put paper towels in the gaps, which has done a good job of taking are of the issue. We're not able to have a kitchen table due because there isn't enough space with the trash can and my son's high chair. The place was built in the 60s, remodeled in 1999. I think the remodeling was minimal, because when the paint peels off the tile in the bathroom, you can see that it used to be green. Windows obviously weren't replaced. Floors now have vinyl/laminate that looks like wood. I might be nitpicking, but either the walls were dirty before they painted, or the brushes were dirty, but I can see how rough the walls are due to not being clean beforehand. A lot of things were simply painted over. Walls could definitely use some sanding as well. The floor in what would've been my son's room is HORRENDOUSLY squeaky. Also, the cable outlet in the main room doesn't work, so the WiFi router has to go in that room. Walls and floors are thin. You can hear people talking, playing music, snoring, etc. However, people are pretty quiet most of the time, so it's not too big of an issue. COMMUNITY: Residents don't follow the rules. No pets are allowed, but the guy downstairs has several cats that roam the property, and someone in the row of buildings behind me has parakeets outside. Office is only open from 10 to 4:30, Monday through Friday. It's not an issue for me, since I don't usually need anything. About a month ago, maybe longer, someone had a pool party. I'm sure there isn't supposed to be any food in the pool area, but how can you have a party without food? That wasn't the worst part. They brought an entire outdoor speaker system and the DJ played very loud music most of the day. Turned into a cookout at some point. No grills are allowed, but I've seen them used on several occasions. The aforementioned leasing consultant lives like two buildings down from me and would've heard the ruckus if he was home. LOCATION: Near an airforce base, so planes fly overhead low enough to set off a car alarm. This is mostly during the day, though some nights, they fly over frequently around 9pm. RESIDENTS: Most nights, things are quiet. However, loud music is played on the weekends sometimes, and sometimes later than 10pm. ROACHES: This deserves its own bullet point, and this is a deal-breaker for most people. The previous reviewer, Sierra, posted several pictures of "water bugs". Those were roaches. Had we known that there were roaches here, we wouldn't have moved in. One crawled across the floor two days after we moved in. You could seen them running around outside at night, and they were rather large. I'll say during the first month, we killed...five or six of them. There was an influx of them after the pool party because people left plates of food under the stairs of our building. However, I haven't seen any in a good month or so. Could be the change in weather, or the fact that kids are back in school. We bought spray just in case. They do have weekly pest control, but I don't want the chemicals around my son. It would help a lot to treat the outside of the buildings regularly so that it would minimize what enters the apartments themselves, and also to replace the windows to keep said creatures out. I wanted to love this place, but chances are, unless we don't see another roach from now until the end of our lease next year, we won't be staying any longer than necessary. Place needs an overhaul. A gate at the entrance is supposed to be forthcoming, but I know that's going to raise the rent, so I'm neutral about that. read more

I've lived here for 5 months unlike the last reviewer my unit must be one of the upgrades my paint,carpet, stove,fridge and dishwasher are new. The the unit was very clean when I viewed and moved in. I had to rid a weird old moldy smell tho. There was a welcome card with handy household items on the kitchen counter. Can't believe I was put through hell getting approval for such a not worthy apartment complex tho.The staff/maintenance is kind and professional. The office is closed more than it's open, but I don't need anything. I've gotten a taste of that horrendous upstairs neighbor squeaking floor, lucky for me my neighbors work during the day and go to bed at night and they live alone. It's so loud that it would have been a deal breaker for me had my old neighbor not moved shortly after I moved in. I haven't experience very loud music and unruly pool parties like the last reviewer, infact the pool must have been closed since I moved here in April because I haven't seen ONE person in it. It was covered most of the season. The grounds are kept up very nice the parking lot is newly paved and trees have been cut down. I'm surprised how quiet it is here, when the kids were out for the summer I didn't see many kids as I expected. Although this is a no pet complex there is a klan of cats some tenants continue to feed and house so they stay around and make themselves at home on top of your car and anywhere else they please. If you "shoo" them they move. I don't like cats but they're way kool than dogs to live around, they poop not as bad on the grass which is maintained often, they're not oversize and hopefully they keep the rats/mice away, but the headcount needs shortened. Last but not least the bugs. I've found 3 different looking bugs in my place, one is the roach species and different sizes. I'll try to upload pictures and videos. I spray 3 of the top odorless sprays for this issue so most of the time I see them they are visibly dead. I keep my place clutter free and extra clean to prevent them from coming in and since then I have seen a drastic improvement. I love the security gate and I hope I can enjoy my stay for as long as I'm here, at this affordable cost. read more

Love our management staff! Quiet neighborhood..never had any maintenance issues that couldn't be resolved within a day! I may never move lol
