I visited this place and did a tour. The outside is well kept however, when I did my tour of the…read moreinside of the apartment, I noticed how outdated the place was. They also had carpet throughout, which I was not a fan of. The layout of the apartment is ok. After my tour, i ran into a gentleman who had moved in during the summer and is now looking move elsewhere. He was furious about the constant mold problem apparently they have here. He mentioned to me how there is mold literally everywhere. Mold in the cracks of the window. The toilets breed black mold, the shower walls have mold growing under it, the faucet spouts also has mold coming through it. He even mentioned how the ice maker ice started tasting funny and stale. The automatic ice maker apparently is not maintained properly, neither is the dishwasher. I told the guy that it sounds like they care more about the appearance outside than they do inside. After touring the place and running across the gentleman that lives there, I am going to look at some newer builds. I would rather pay extra rent, knowing that the new build I am living in is in great shape inside. Before writing this, I looked at some reviews from this place and apparently there were some of the same complaints about mold and how the people concerns about it was not taken seriously. If you want new and not have to worry about these issues , look elsewhere.

Even when dedicated staff moved on to other opportunities, new staff had the same professionalism. Hated to leave but I bought a house. The maintenance staff is TOP NOTCH too! Grounds are super clean, gates always work and they communicate often about everything! Qiyam

I have lived here for going on five years. Been through…read morethree management companies. Lots of crazy neighbors and plenty of life moments. This is a wonderful community and home. Safe, gated, clean, friendly almost like a resort with a huge fancy pool and center courtyard. I have a lovely apt with views and a nice floorspace. Management here rolls through not caring and frequently. Your rent will be raised substantially every year with no improvements. Too much money ultimately for what you get. A nice stepping stone but not a long term "home". Rent becomes ridiculous. Looking to move due to it.

I cannot recommend this apartment complex, especially to families with young children…read more Before applying, my fiancé and I specifically asked about the safety of the property because we had seen mixed reviews online. We explained that I am six months pregnant and we have a two year old, so safety was our number one concern. An employee, Dre, reassured us that the property was safe, and based on those assurances, we applied, were approved, and paid the reservation fee. Only after paying the fee did I discover, through multiple local news reports, that two men had recently been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of underage girls on the property. The case was reported as being under investigation. This is information that absolutely would have affected our decision to apply, and we never would have moved forward had we known. When I called the leasing office to ask about canceling our reservation and receiving a refund, Macy (or Marcie something like that) told me it was my fault for trusting what their employee had told us. She stated that they were not required to disclose criminal activity on the property and that I should have done my own research before applying. Whether or not they had a legal obligation to disclose it, I specifically asked about safety before giving them any money. As a pregnant mother with a young child, I expected an honest and transparent answer--not reassurance that left out information any reasonable family would want to know. The way this situation was handled showed a complete lack of accountability and customer care. Losing the reservation fee is frustrating, but what is far more disappointing is being misled after asking a direct question about something that mattered most to my family. I hope this review encourages other families to do extensive research before applying, because you may not get the full picture from the leasing office.

Broken gates, broken promises, broken everything -- RUN. If…read moreyou don't read anything else: This place is a scam. Do not waste your money or your peace of mind. I've lived at The Arden for about a year now, and I can honestly say it's been a miserable experience. If you're thinking about moving here, save yourself the stress -- here's what they won't tell you: When I first toured The Arden, they promised the gates would be working by the time I moved in (June 10, 2024) and offered four weeks of free rent to rush me into signing. Both were complete lies. Almost a year later, the gates are still broken, while nearby complexes have theirs working just fine. Security? Basically nonexistent. Right after I moved in, the air conditioning broke, and I was forced to wait THREE days in the summer heat for repairs. I had to leave my apartment just to have access to air conditioning. The broken AC has made me sick multiple times since then, and it's clear the system is unreliable. Maintenance only handles problems on their schedule -- if it's after hours, you're on your own. Our "brand new" washer broke within months, and guess what? I had to fix it myself too. The so-called amenities are a joke. The "free coffee machine"? Never free. The "all-season pool"? Usually green and disgusting, more like a swamp than a pool. Noise levels are unbearable. The walls are paper-thin, and partying goes on all night. You will hear every conversation, every laugh, every slammed door. Combine that with feeling unsafe because of weird stares and catcalling from other residents -- this is not a comfortable place to live. Bugs are everywhere. We are paying for pest control in our rent, but spider webs and bugs are all over the property. It's clear pest control is barely happening, if at all. Management is beyond unprofessional. In just one year, I've seen three different teams come and go. Communication is terrible -- we get nasty emails in ALL CAPS with zero professionalism. Instead of addressing concerns respectfully, they send aggressive, rude messages that feel more like threats than updates. They also randomly schedule "unit inspections" with little to no notice, expecting residents to allow strangers into their apartments with almost no warning. It's a complete invasion of privacy and makes living here even more stressful. If that wasn't enough control, they also enforce ridiculous fines on residents over holiday decorations. They control what kinds of decorations you can put up, when you're allowed to decorate, and fine you if you don't follow their absurd rules. It's petty, controlling, and just another way to nickel-and-dime residents. Rent here is way too high for what you're getting. You're paying premium prices to live in the middle of nowhere, with no security, broken amenities, dirty facilities, and rude management. To make it worse, they charge you a "convenience fee" just to pay your rent online. It's like they're trying to squeeze every last dollar out of you for nothing in return. Valet trash is another nightmare. If you don't set your trash out at the exact minute they want, expect extra fees tacked onto your already overpriced rent. Safety is clearly an afterthought. The elevator hasn't had a proper inspection in forever, and it has been out of service multiple times -- just another sign they cut corners everywhere. To make matters worse, when I emailed management that I would NOT be renewing my lease, they didn't even bother to respond. It's obvious they plan to pretend they never received the email just to trap residents into automatic renewals or bogus fees. More shady behavior on top of everything else. Overall, The Arden is full of broken promises, shady practices, controlling management, constant invasions of privacy, and nonstop extra charges. You deserve better -- don't make the same mistake I did. Look somewhere else.
