I have no doubt that this is a 5 star hotel but the fact that we were essentially without water for 2 days kinda leaves me unhappy. I thought about giving 3 stars but the situation for the sulfur smelling/tasting water was a mechanical issue that could have happened at any time. To their credit, they were apologetic and provided us with a few bottles of water and a bag of ice.
Other than not being able to use the water, the place is great! Very quiet in the rooms. Even when 8-10 trucks and boats left early in the morning for the tournaments, we didn't hear a thing. The rooms are newly remodeled and look great!
I wouldn't hesitate to come back and stay again although I would definitely ask about the water first.
Oh, plus they are dog friendly for $10/night which is MUCH cheaper than putting her in a kennel. read more
