My friend loves hats, so she couldn't resist going into Roxann's as we were walking past. I'm not a hat person, but I was in need of a cute sun hat for my upcoming trip to Vegas (at temperatures in the mid 40s, a hat is a necessity!). Roxann's has hats of all different styles--there's definitely something for everyone. And I did find the perfect hat, a cute, grey sun hat, perfect for the beach or walking around the Vegas strip. (I'll definitely bring it on my trip to Burma.) Finding a sun hat has been a struggle, because hats are always too big for me, and children's hats are too small. But this hat is adjustable--there's a draw string on the inside of the hat that you can tighten, if necessary. Brilliant! Will I ever be back? Unlikely, as it's not easy for me to get to, and I don't wear hats, but if I'm ever in the area again, I will check it out--I recall them selling waterproof hats for the rain, which interested me (carrying an umbrella is a hassle). If you like hats, definitely make a visit to Roxann's!

I am allergic to wool so that leaves me with limited options and they were helpful in finding some options that would work for me. They packed my hats into a lovely hat box to transport home. It was my first time shopping for a hat, so I appreciated Saoirse's questions, hat suggestions, and active listening skills to help me find something I would like. At one point, Saoirse had to step away, and her colleague tried to help me, but she unfortunately overwhelmed me with hat after hat, not really listening to what I was looking for. Saoirse came back, saw that I was overwhelmed, and insisted that I take a break and come back, which I really appreciated. I didn't end up going back because they didn't have the style and hat that I wanted in my size. However, I did order the hat directly from the milliner when I returned home. I've also worn Goorin Bros & Göttmann hats over the years. Fedoras, pork pie, & the mowbray styles are right up my alley. The owner is an eclectic lady who has created such a unique store with wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling treasures. My daughter loved the store. I purchased something. We came back to eat near there and I went down to look again, store was closed but mentioned the one up the street. So again I brought my daughter. She loved some cat ears so she was holding them til we were ready to buy. I even said don't let us walk out without paying, as the store has a lot going on and I didn't want to forget. We went to the other side I noticed the woman behind the counter (not the one from the other day) had just happened to come up there and was looking around. My daughter found a purse she wanted to match the ears but before we could go swap the ears, the woman asked me and ONLY me, "was I done yet" I said no I'm not she proceeded to say "okay well I'll hold those behind the counter till you're ready". Are you kidding me? The ears were $5 the purse was $15. This is not "valuables".
