You can tell that they are different from the moment you walk through the door. We knew that our mom/grandmother was being cared for and treated with dignity. We are eternally grateful for the care she received, and wouldn't consider any other facility on the west side for nursing or rehab!

I also walked in convinced that I was going to be really nice to everyone and make this a positive experience, which I'm persuaded enough already is true, so (AT LEAST) four stars.

I was given the daily tools to use for my sobriety. The small group setting feels safe and comfortable along with a staff that is very positive, knowledgeable, supportive and kind. I still feel very much a part of the Hotel California Family. This is a unique program that is very different than other intensive outpatient programs in the city. I'm so happy Cincinnati has this available for people who want the freedom of a sober and happy life. Thanks to all at Hotel California for helping me find that joy and freedom that comes with sobriety!!

If Twin Towers is still around when I'm old, I'd love to live here!…read more I stopped by the retirement home today to observe a presentation on Cincinnati history, taking place in one of the auditoriums. As the venue was located at the far end of the building, I had the opportunity to walk by many of the activity rooms, residences, and interact with staff. The facility was very spacious, clean, and modern. There is a gym with a variety of work out equipment, and staff members helping residents exercise. A beautiful dining hall sits off to the side. Whatever beef dish was being cooked for dinner smelled delicious! Two staff members helped residents find their seats in the auditorium, closed the blinds for the slideshow, and joked along with all the seniors. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, and the caregivers really enjoyed their job. The seniors clustered together in their friend groups, some in pairs. The little old ladies were adorable in their knitted shawls, matching pastel outfits, and fresh perms. Twin Towers has been a staple of Cincinnati since 1899 and sprawls out over 120 acres. Beautiful gardens surround the exterior and many residents have patio balconies to enjoy the view. Offering both senior apartments and assisted living, Twin Towers looks like a great place to spend your golden years. Since it is also a historic landmark, tours of the facility are offered to the public: http://www.lec.org/twinTowers/TwinTowersHistoricTours.htm
