The communication here is fantastic--daily updates and as-needed feedback keep me in the loop, and during the first week, Mrs. Anne kept me posted daily on how my child doing every transition and activity that really put my mind at ease. Mrs. Anne surprised me with my child's moments with friends and while she is doing her work, playtime that sparked my days while I am at work. The daycare makes holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter so festive and fun, and they go above and beyond for birthdays and farewells, especially for kids transitioning to TK, kindergarten, or moving away--those moments feel so special! Summer water balloon days and the Halloween party are huge hits with the kids, creating such joyful memories. The classrooms are always clean and tidy, with toys disinfected daily, and even the storeroom for toys is impressively organized. My son has been attending Anaheim Kids Academy for nearly four years, and although he officially graduated a couple of months ago, yesterday was his final day of summer school--and it was definitely bittersweet! This school has been such an incredible part of our lives. It is clean, organized, structured, and, most importantly, filled with so much love and care. They have truly helped me raise my little boy--from changing his diapers as a baby to helping him develop the structure, independence, confidence, and skills he needed to prepare for Kindergarten. Over the years, my son has made so many wonderful friends, and I have been lucky enough to make friendships of my own with many of the families. These are relationships we truly hope to continue for years to come. Their summer program is also wonderful, with so many fun and exciting activities that keep the kids engaged and happy throughout the summer. Overall, our experience at Anaheim Kids Academy has been nothing short of amazing, and I will forever be grateful for the role they have played in my son's early years. A very special thank you to Mrs. Natalie, who helped us finish this chapter stronger than ever. She has done an incredible job developing the TK program into what it is today, and we are so appreciative of all her hard work and dedication. My three year old at the time was attending another daycare that only accepted children age two and up. I wanted both of my kids in the same place, so I enrolled them here and I am so grateful I did. My son started here when he was about 11 months old, and from the very beginning you could tell the staff genuinely love and have a true passion for children. My daughter started when she was three and was very shy and scared at first, but her teachers and the staff made her feel so comfortable. She was able to be herself here, just like she is at home. I truly love all the staff and the amazing events they put together. They make every holiday so special and fun for the kids Halloween, Easter, open house events, picture days, and so much more. You can really tell how much effort and love they put into creating these moments, and that's something I truly appreciate as a parent. They even allowed me to have a birthday lunch for my daughter's 4th birthday, and she was beyond thrilled. For my son's 1st birthday, they also made it feel so special. Those little moments mean everything, and it shows how much they truly care about each child. My daughter is now four, turning five, and will be graduating with her TK class. Thanks to this daycare, she already knows her ABCs and colors in Spanish, which is amazing. My one year old son already knows his colors, loves singing, and absolutely loves everyone here. What I also really appreciate is that if there is ever an issue or concern, the staff communicates it kindly and respectfully. They truly work as a team with parents to find solutions and support the child, which means so much to me. Six months seems like a good time to really attest to the quality of swim lessons my sister has with Isabella, her swim instructor. We went in hoping with all our might that my sister would be paired with a good instructor who has experience with individuals with special needs. At the beginning, I tried to find reviews on specific instructors and times that worked best, and ultimately, with sheer dumb luck, we chose Isabella. That decision has been a very fortunate luck of the draw for my sister to have Isabella for her instructor. We had very low expectations for my sister's goal in learning to swim. However, with Isabella's guidance, care, compassion, and immense patience, my sister's progress has exceeded our expectations. Isabella is a wonderful instructor who embodies warmth, positivity, and is firm even when she brings on new challenges for growth, which is perfect for my sister. With her compassion and kindness, Isabella has managed to make major progress with my sister to allow swimming goggles to be placed over her eyes. For nearly all her life, my sister has hated being submerged under water, goggles over her eyes, or anything over her face, but Isabella has been able to change that and help my sister grow in less than a year. Isabella is efficient and effective as a swim instructor. Isabella offers a safe and welcoming space for her students, including and especially those with special needs. Waterworks Aquatics is lucky to have such a great instructor as Isabella K., whose technical skills are just as wonderful as her care and empathetic nature to her students and the family she works with. She deserves to be recognized for her work, kindness, and patience. I do want to mention, this location is a heated pool facility, with a separate play look, is kept clean overall, and the bathrooms are decent in cleanliness. Parking also usually isn't an issue. My only complaint, and this is regarding the application/portal, is that often from my use, it has glitched where I can't always find the specific instructor. I've had to screen cap and send this over so the company can work with IT but it has happened a few times now. This is more of a technical critique and not related at all to the instructor nor facility.
