I saw that my brother was doing so well in his weaker subjects within a short time. I used joe starting out from when I was in middle school. I remember I had a very challenging algebra class and once Joe came into the picture to help, my next test was an A. My teacher was amazed of how well I improved in such a short amount of time! Through middle school and high school Joe was a great resource for helping me to understand various classes such as algebra one and two and even Spanish and essay writing. When he was unable to help me with a subject in high shcool he was always able to match me up with one of the tutors in his network. They also worked very well for me! Another great thing about Joe was that he was easy to get along with. He was a great listener and really pin point my weak areas and helped me get through them. I really started getting into the habit of studying where as before I wasnt motivated. In the end, I was able to study much less and achieve even better grades; all because things were broken down in ways that were easy to digest mentally. I'm now finishing up my freshman year in college and have retained many of the study habits and skills that were impressed upon me throughout my formative years.

The vibe is energetic and positive. My daughter's math has gotten significantly better to the point where her actual math homework for first grade is too easy for her. So it's definitely helping for sure. Separately mathnasium has their own effective currency called "cards" that students earn based on how much math they do and they then use those cards to buy whatever items they want ranging from candy to toys to even big ticket items like ps5 or Nintendo switches. This teaches my daughter to essentially be good with money by learning to save instead of spend which is even more important to me than her being good at math.

There are so many positives to share. The one-on-one teaching is excellent. The quality of the teachers is very high but my son is also understanding the school work so much more as he is able to ask questions right away but at the same time there is no place to hide in the class. The teachers are also very supportive, they want you to understand the work and it feels more like a partnership. There are also more course options available, which given my sons interest in computing, he has been able to take classes like Cybersecurity in addition to the usual AP computer classes, and is planning on taking Animation in his final year. The school is also very flexible as there has been times he has had to move classes around or reschedule classes due to things like illness, and it has been very easy to do that. What we have really learned as a family is that there are many school options available to your kids, and if you find the right one, like we have for our son, it can really change them in a positive way.

Scott and the people at Blue Train put the boys on a very manageable schedule and in fact, both of our sons were totally done with most applications by Thanksgiving. Both boys got into tons of schools, got thrown tons of money, and this entire process was so smooth because of Blue Train's guidance.
