The technicians Alan and Javier immediately got started replacing the windshield and it wasn't too much longer they were finished. My car looked great. I asked if they could change out windshield wipers and they said yes. Ten minutes later they were done and I was ready to check out and pay. I got in my car, started it up and multiple warning lights were on so I brought the car back to the shop. Alan brought the car back into the garage and hooked up diagnostics which told him my battery was only putting out 8 volts (it was a 6-7 year old battery!). The owner, Mt. Wood Sr. stood up at his desk and said that he would happy to drive over to the NAPA store and pick up the battery. He came back with the battery and Alan and Javier installed it for me In what seemed like minutes! I drove away with my car working great! Every single person at Glass Doctor was so kind and helpful and willing to do whatever it took to get my car fixed and in working order! The best experience I've ever had! I would recommend everyone to use this business This is what businesses were like in the old days - I felt like I had known these people for years and I trusted them immediately! I hesitated to use this business because I lived in the SE Woodstock area of town and they were way over in Beaverton - because of their 5 star ratings I decided I'd try them and boy was I glad I did!!! And it only took me 24 minutes to get there in 9am traffic ! Thank you Glass Doctor for such wonderful service and friendly attitude!!! I'll definitely be back! Janis

I recently had the windshield replaced on my Toyota Tundra at the Safelite location in Beaverton,…read moreOregon (13227 SW Canyon Rd.). Unfortunately, the experience took three separate visits before the job was completed correctly. Day 1: I dropped off my truck, and after a few hours I was notified that the windshield had been replaced. However, I was told the forward-facing safety sensor could not be recalibrated. The staff explained that I would need to return in about 10 days so they could replace the windshield with a different brand of glass, which they believed would resolve the calibration issue. Day 2: I returned as scheduled only to find out that the replacement windshield had never been ordered (or was forgotten). This was a complete waste of my time. To their credit, the front desk employee recognized the inconvenience and offered me a free set of windshield wipers as a goodwill gesture. While my main concern was making sure I wouldn't have to come back a third time, I did appreciate the effort to make things right. Day 3: The new windshield was installed, and this time the safety sensor was successfully recalibrated. However, when I asked about the complimentary windshield wipers, I was first told they had been forgotten because they weren't added to the work notes. Later I was told they had actually run out of my size. The inconsistent explanation was disappointing. After getting home, I also noticed quality issues with the installation. There were black marks left on the upper corner of the windshield, and some of the interior headliner/fabric had not been tucked back into place properly. I've attached photos of both issues. Overall, I appreciate that the staff remained courteous throughout the process and that they ultimately resolved the calibration issue. However, the repeated scheduling mistakes, poor communication, multiple return trips, and lack of attention to detail made what should have been a straightforward windshield replacement a frustrating experience. I hope Safelite uses this feedback to improve communication, quality control, and follow-through for future customers.

I had a terrible experience with this company…read more I called to get a quote on a windshield seal leak for my '16 Outback. They quoted me $120 for labor if they could repair it without removing the windshield, and $250 if they needed to remove it. They asked if the windshield had been replaced, but I bought the car used so I wasn't sure. They said factory glass is less likely to break during removal. The address associated with the business on Yelp is only 4 blocks from my house. After they took my info, I confirmed the drop-off time, which is when they said they would come to me. I said I didn't mind bringing it to the shop because it was so close. They said they recently relocated and asked which address I saw on the site. I told them the cross streets and they confirmed it was the correct address. So the next day, I bring my car in, only to be met with confusion by the business owners. They said they contract with Alpha for auto glass work, but are not associated with them otherwise, and were not notified about my appt. I explained the situation and they took my keys. A few hours later I get a call from Alpha saying my leak is fixed and the car is ready to be picked up. I asked what I owed them. He said $220. I had a meeting I needed to attend to in that moment, so I said I would call him back. After my meeting, I reached back out and asked if they needed to remove the windshield. He said no. So I reiterated the quote I received from his associate the day before, and suddenly the price was now $120. I walked to the shop to retrieve my car, payed the business owner, and got in my car to leave. I examined the area that needed repair, and the corresponding leak, only to find it was still leaking and the windshield seal stripping was still pulled away from the windshield. I went back in and told the business owners what I discovered. They immediately refunded my payment and I showed them the leak just to verify my claim. They were very kind and apologetic, and ensured they would cease contracting with Alpha immediately. So now I'm in limbo, with mold growing in my car, after three weeks away from home, and returning to discover the issue. Nothing is resolved and I'm feeling very discouraged. In short, I do not trust or recommend this company. Not only did they not do the repair, they tried to charge me for labor that they didn't do. Hard pass. After of summer of adventures, I had our Highlander deep cleaned and detailed. For what it's worth, I have 2 kids, we go on a lot of road trips, we all eat in the car and we hadn't really had any detailing done, well, ever. The car was disgusting. Oh, and we have a dog that travels with us too. I handed over the keys in the morning and wished them luck. By the evening the car looked brand new! It was incredible. Truly. So much so that a lady at the gas station remarked on how beautiful the car looked...an old Highlander, of all things! I think that says something. We've used other detailing services for other cars but this one was a great experience from first point of contact until finish. We will definitely be coming back.
