I live in Lex, but will come back whenever I have the chance. The service was fast and the waiter had help from another gentleman to sort it out. The fajitas were amazing, everything tasted fresh, and the menu is huge--which is dangerous because now I have about 17 things I need to come back and try. The service was outstanding, even though the restaurant had plenty of people in it. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and we never felt rushed or forgotten. And yes, I checked the bathrooms. Super clean. That matters! Fantastic food, excellent service, clean restaurant, great atmosphere... I'm just annoyed it took me this long to find it. We'll definitely be back!

Everyone at the table was happy with their meals and enjoyed the service. I will definitely be coming back here again in the near future. Great food, great atmosphere and service.

But what it is, is some down home, authentic Mexican food. Their red tomatillo salsa could use some work, but their habanero is fire! Literally. Fajitas are great, flavor profile is wonderful, saucy, not dry like SOME places. Carnitas are authentic and great flavor as well. Chili Colorado is great, could be spicier but then I'm a sucker for some spice (also this is where that red tomatillo salsa comes in). These are the only things I get at Mexican so deal with it. Their sides, beans and rice are great too. Portions are normally enough (after stuffing myself with chips and beer) for a couple of meals. Speaking of, they also have a pretty great Mexican beer selection with a laid back atmosphere. The servers are very friendly and service is fast. On Friday nights they have a great little old man band that plays country AND western classics. So come on fella, give Los Dos a try. I'll see ya there on Friday.

He enjoyed his steak chimichanga and my seafood enchilada was filled with plenty of shrimp and crab and absolutely wonderful. Portions are generous and I brought half of it home to enjoy later. I highly recommend Pepper's for a great meal and I look forward to our next visit.

I have been to dozens of Mexican restaurants in the Lexington area and there are two that stand out. This one and the me in Midway, KY. This place is like the Cheesecake Factory of Mexican -it's a big menu. If you talk to Latin American people or the employees of the restaurant, they will tell you that this place is exceptional. I had the Camarones A La Diabla and it was spicy!! Great flavor! Most Mexican restaurants don't show any heat or spice in most all of their dishes, but this is fire! Not only do they have a large menu but also have a lot seating. There are so many tables and they open another room on the weekends. They have a great patio when the weather is right and it is covered! We were there on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. After receiving it and taking two bites, I decided to open it up and view the contents -please see photo. I found out there were more fries than steak, barely any guacamole, and Pico de gallo.
