The sausage was definitely the fan favorite for the kids. I have to say the pizza crust was really enjoyable, crispy throughout and not too paper thin and robust enough to hold all toppings. As far as service, it's best to call in ahead to put in your order, as I've heard they only pump out 100 or so pizzas per day and seem to be in high demand. For example, we called in on a weekday at 4:45pm and pick up wouldn't be until 6:35pm. So roughly, two hour wait which was on par with what I've read about. The shop itself is very small. Only two tables and the rest of the space is dedicated to the kitchen and pizza oven. I'd recommend taking to go as inside runs hot from the big ol' oven. All in all, really great quality tavern style. Worth a try if you can time the order with when you want to eat. =P 'Til next time, cheers!

I was a diehard acolyte to the "Deep Dish or Die" philosophy, but I have seen the promised land, and it is made of thin crust. The crust is crisp, the sausage hot, and the cheese thoroughly melted, yet they work some Gandalfian magic to make the crust onions and green peppers stay perfectly crunchy. You may think it's mind-boggling how magnets work; but I tell you this pizza is on a wholly different level! Second only to their exquisite pie is their customer service. The people answering the phones were polite and did not rush me, though I am sure they are overwhelmed with calls from opening to close. The delivery man was funny, polite, and smelled fabulous (though that may have just been the pizza). 10/10 would recommend.

The sauce is overly sweet, the crust is mediocre, and the meat quality/flavor is noticeably different from what you'd expect at a traditional pizza place. They also do not serve alcohol, which is their choice, but it makes the atmosphere feel even more limited for what should be one of the premier outdoor dining locations in downtown Clarendon Hills.p What makes it more disappointing is the location itself. There are very few units that can have outdoor seating (as epitomized by the Prospect Tavern that fell through because they couldn't even get three parking spaces for outdoor seating approved), and this spot has some of the best outdoor seating in town, yet it's usually nearly empty while neighboring restaurants are packed. It feels like a missed opportunity for the area. If only we could have gotten something like Parlor Pizza here instead!

We are so glad we did! Because the cheese was perfectly gooey without being overwhelming paired with a delicious tomato sauce atop a complimentary crust with just the right amount of give to it. This may be the only thin crust pizza I would continue to get. The pan pizza was basically just the thin crust pizza with a lip on the perimeter and more cheese. This pizza was not nearly as good as the thin crust because if I'm going to eat a non-thin crust pizza, I want a more doughy crust and this just did not deliver. There was also too much cheese and it wasn't charred the same way the thin crust was. The inside is quaint with hats from all over everywhere. Service is also very kind and as quick as they can be with how busy it is. My only complaint is I wish they had a vegetable side dish that was fried, but it's a local pizza shop and perhaps not the right audience for this.

We ordered garlic bread with mozzarella and Sal's Sicilian topping Sicilian style pizza. The garlic bread was very cheesy, soft, and lightly crispy. The pizza is like a pan style pizza, it's not rectangular like I thought it was going to be. Nevertheless, the pizza was good. Crunchy crusts, cheesy, and a lot of toppings. Prices were cheap. The service on the other hand brings my rating down. It wasn't even busy for dine-in and our waitress was gone for long periods at a time. Me and the other table needed more water. It seriously took her 3-4 mins just to refill my water. When we were ready for boxes and the bill, it also took her an unusual amount of time. I'm not sure why she didn't just bring the boxes and the bill at the same time, that way we're not just wasting time sitting there.
