Great place, my daughter loves their ice cream! You can't beat the price, under $1.50 for kids ice cream Waffle Cones. Their chocolate is delicious and they always have seasonal chocolate gift boxes, great for birthday gifts etc.

Heard some good things about this place from a fellow foodie. So the fam ventured into this place for the first time. Never heard of this company before but we are always up for first time adventures. Pulled up today into the empty parking lot with the weather being over one hundred degrees. The lady who greeted us was warm, welcoming, and friendly. We really appreciated her knowledge with the history of the company and how it got started. We also were offered a few samples so we appreciated that. In addition, they also sell $2 ice cream scoops - they sell ice cream there. To our surprise, they also had bags of Carmel corn - that was stored in the small fridge. We actually make our family Carmel corn every Christmas holiday and it was a bit puzzling to us as to why theirs had to be stored in the fridge. We asked about this and she stated that it makes it lasts longer and it's crunchy (the Carmel) when it's cold. She did say the Carmel softens up when it's room temperature (but why would Carmel corn be chewy?!). I did taste the "Brittany Carmel" which is caramel and marshmallow, coated with dark chocolate. It wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. The milk chocolate truffle was OK. These chocolates are not as good as See's Candies in my opinion. However they do have a "sugarless" section of chocolates which was impressive as they cater to a broader audience. The customer service was fantastic, but the quality of these chocolates are lacking.

Super clean, fabulous ice cream, cookies and candy ALL very affordable! A must visit.

Great chocolates just like my mom used to make. Cream fillings and dark chocolate are my favorites.

They have $1.50 cones...but theyre small. Upgrade to the larger waffle cone for only $2.50 (try the fudge brownie)

Great place! Simply looking around town for chocolate covered Oreos to keep my wife happy, and she loved them.

When I walk into the Candy Barrel, one word comes to mind: Nostalgia…read more From the homemade fudge, to the ice creams (about a dozen selections from Leatherby's) ready to be coned, to the barrels of old candy favorites, to the caramel apples, to the taffy, this store is a walk down cavity lane ... err, I mean memory lane. Of the barrels, my personal fave is the one filled with mini candy bars ... it's like my childhood Halloween candy stash all over again. You'll find a barrel of red licorice, barrels of Pop Rocks, a barrel of of swizzle sticks, a barrel of Starburst, plenty of taffy (including the original McCrain's flats), several barrels of different gums, chocolates, Smarties, Tootsie Roll pops, lollipops, candy buttons, and just about every hard candy you could imagine. And, if you've just finished a big Italian or Mexican meal, you even get your after-dinner mint on with the round peppermint candy-cane type candy. There's some newer stuff thrown in: I saw some Harry Potter jelly beans in the joint. Prices are low ... most things in that $.99, $1.49, $1.99 range. And, even better, you can RENT barrels from them! I love this place. Your dentist may have another opinion.

The guy who works here is kinda rude. Candy is over priced and hard. There is a sign that says free…read moresamples for fudge and when I asked for a sample he gave me some. It was hard. So I didn't want to purchase any. Then he gave me a hard time for not buying any after I tried it. Wtfreak. Lol
