The very small donut case was empty, but the donuts were arranged on an old dining table in the middle of the bakery, uncovered. (Bakery is not made on site, but in a house/facility in same town by 2 sisters.) The place is not set up nicely--another example of the poor quality and image of businesses in the area. There's a sink visible when you walk in. They have a ugly display of handmade jewelry by the door. On the opposite wall is shelving with knick-knacks and small wood items for sale. There are plants and flower arrangements in the window/dining table area. The ceiling tiles looked ready to fall down from rain that went through the roof. In a word....DEPRESSING. Looks like they can't decide whether to be a bakery, a jewelry shop, a junk shop, or what. One thing they have decided on is to do everything they can to NOT be successful. Through our interactions, her questions, and how accommodating Tiffany was, the care and attention she provided made it clear she really wanted to do her part to make sure the event was wonderful. We live three hours away and were able to take care of all the details through phone/email/text. 2. As stated the end product was beautiful and exceeded expectations. We ordered vanilla, chocolate, and carrot cake cupcakes. There was a light dusting of cinnamon on the carrot cake frosting making it easy to tell them apart. The attention to detail was wonderful. 3. The actual taste of the cake and cupcakes was amazing. The flavor of each was distinct and delicious. The frosting was perfect, not too sweet. I have no idea how she did it, but the bride and groom wanted a marble cake and it was marbled. It looked like marble, not like traditional bakery marble cake. They claim they served 350 people, but we did the math and there was only 332 people that attended. Very ignorant on the phone when I tried explaining what happened and ruined the night for many of our guests. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

In fact, it is worth a a community (or more) detour. Good food, good coffee, good bakery, good people. Plus, the building itself is fresh and fun, not just a tired old diner. And to top it off, when my wife left her purse their, they ran down the street and got it to us. Now that is service.
