From the beginning, Craig was honest with us about what to expect and told us we would probably be working together for about a year. He was right. Our claim closed just over the one year mark. What I appreciated most was that Craig truly stood up for us. When the insurance company would not commit to temporary housing, he pushed to get us into a nice hotel and made sure our food expenses and overnight parking for two cars were covered until a comparable home could be found. He also arranged for our packing and storage and took away so much of the frustrating back and forth with the insurance adjusters. Mostly SRO books live, in-studio audiences for LA-based talk shows. I've gotten to attend tapings of weekly comedy shows, sitcom pilots, holiday specials, courtroom gallery for court shows, you name it. The work depends on the production so it changes up and gets slow sometimes - Standing Room Only doesn't control that but has a solid core crew that keeps things light and moving in an industry that can be hectic. I had an issue with a payment that went missing and had to call the payroll office, expecting it to be a nightmare, and the tech could not have been more helpful and awesome at getting everything corrected. So that side of the business works too, and it's good to know that the one time out of a hundred I actually had a problem, it was simple to fix. I've recommended all my friends in LA to sign up! The number one thing is, read and RE-READ the dress codes! Those come from the show so what seems stupid (no stripes) is sometimes just TV rules. And some sets do not allow you to have your phone with you or turned on, at all, so if you are ADDICTED to your phone and can't comprehend reading or chatting during down time, this might not be for you.
