The service staff did an excellent job taking care of us and went above and beyond. Literally all the guests commented on how delicious the food was. Set up was easy and Zoe, the event coordinator, was great to work with. I cannot thank them enough. Our room was beautiful and private and we heard from many of our guests that it was the most beautiful rehearsal dinner they had been to. They also allowed me to set up flowers and a banner as well. Thank you, Crown Tavern for making our night perfect.

Perfect for meeting friends having a gathering we're just having dinner on a business trip. There's an above average beer offering as well as a full bar. I chose to have an old-fashioned with my meal. There's a large selection of shareable's and I chose the crab dip and it was nicely done. There's five or six flatbread pizzas to choose from a nice offering of salads as well as sandwiches, and four entrées, consisting of mac & cheese, fish and chips, muscles, pork cutlet. I always enjoy Reuben so I took their twist of a Reuben cheesesteak on a pretzel hoagie, which was nice and soft and a fun twist on a Reuben. If you're local, I think it's a great location to meet friends and have a beer after work if you're traveling like myself it's a great option versus the standard national brands.

Stopped in specifically to try the custard…read more I abstained from getting my own portion, but I tasted it and it was just OK. I like the vibe and decor of the place. It's very retro and feels a little bit like five guys. I've never tried the food so this is simply based on the frozen custard. Portions aren't huge and the custard is scooped into the cup instead of being from a soft serve machine, which is more of what I am accustomed to. It tasted more just like basic ice cream to me. Everyone else felt the same way. I'm glad nobody ordered a cone because I really don't know how the semi soupy concoction would hold up. The kids behind the counter were nice, but were struggling a little bit to get the orders in. If I ever revisit, it would be to try the food.

When one finally did he said "I'll be with you soon". Took another 5 minutes before a different bartender gave us a menu. We finally have up and left cash on the bar. No one acknowledged us leaving at all. The beer was kind of flat and not great flavor. Overall really poor experience.

I was so excited to try SC's pizza for the first time, but unfortunately we will not be back…read more The pizza was disappointing, and the customer service was even worse. I spent about $50 on two medium 14" pizzas, including paying extra for additional cheese on both pies. What we received barely looked like a normal amount of cheese, let alone extra. One pizza had sauce missing from half of it, and the other was folded over with toppings stuck to the opposite side. I questioned the pizzas because they clearly did not look right. The employee said, "I'll ask the cook." After returning, they simply said, "He said he put extra cheese on it." At that point, all anyone needed to do was look at the pizzas, acknowledge the issue, apologize, and offer some type of refund. Instead, the situation was handled poorly. We also spent $24 on two quarts of ice cream, bringing our total close to $75. For those prices, I expected much better quality and customer service. We definitely will not return for the pizza. Possibly for the ice cream, but after this experience, this place has some work to do to justify those prices.
