Communication was a big issue -- he barely updates you, leaves you guessing, and you have to constantly call him just to get any info. He was cool at first, but once he started flaking, everything went downhill. One night he didn't show, came the next day with excuses, and the quality still wasn't right. While putting on my bumper, he even said "I should've charged you $1500 for this," even though he already had the full $1,200 plus an extra $50 I gave him for gas. Overall, the work was incomplete, the experience was stressful, and now I have to spend more money to redo the suspension correctly. I got in car accident where my front passenger side wheel was bent. The control arm, and axle were toast along with several other parts to the wheel side. My friends were telling me that it wasn't worth saving. (They said the cost of any repair would be more than what the poor Kia was worth). I tried calling around to get ideas if it could be fixed, but I was discouraged by the other places with the towing and the quotes. But! Mr. Will gave me a call when I asked for help on Yelp! He was the first and only person to actually call me from Yelp. He was enthusiastic when I showed him the pictures and he told me that the Kia could be saved! I was nervous, but he drove down just to look at my car and did a quick inspection all within an hour from the call. I didn't know there was such a thing as a mobile mechanic! I thought I had to tow it in to a shop. He said he could fix it right here on the side way. He showed me what parts were going to be needed on the drive way. I gave him the go ahead and he was able to dissemble the front damage that same night. It's true the repair was difficult. (it took more than one day for this particular problem.) But Mr. Will kept at it every day as the damage continued to get fixed and each affected part replaced. He was honest about the parts and the pricing and the situation each day. He made it easy to pay too as each problem came up. He even replaced my back side window which was broke (unrelated to the car crash.) He has better access to used car parts as well. (and for less money!) In the end he had me test drive it and back it up! I couldn't believe my car was working again!! I drove it around and parked it back in my Condo. HE SAVED MY KIA SOUL!! Stay away!! My car was working but I needed a new catalytic converter. Mr. Wills was recommended to me in August 2025. He came out and touched my car and then all of a sudden, my engine was blown. I had to miss a day of work and was late to another appointment because of his lack of professionalism. Advised me to take an Uber to wherever I needed to go as if I would have left him at my home unattended. He had so many excuses. One which included he didn't have clean clothes and had to do laundry, which caused him to not show up until after 4 the following day. He banged around a lot on my vehicle when doing the work. Charged me $75 for a $20 part. He didn't have the proper tools to complete the job. Towards the end he claims to discover another problem that was not an issue before he started working on my car. Asked me if I had credit cards to buy the parts and that he could fix. I didn't feel comfortable nor safe to say anything. When it comes to pay I was charged more than necessary and he wouldn't put my car down off the lift until I paid. Plus as mother he told me my car is now not safe to drive and to be cautious of having passengers in my vehicle. Little did he know I had my tires previously changed and the issue he claimed to be pre-existing wasn't there. The banging he was doing caused the issue he claimed was already there. Since you have attempted to repair my vehicle it drives worse than when I needed the rear brakes done. It makes sounds it didn't make before and one of the lug nuts was even loose, which I will add a picture of. In all the years I have had my car a lug but has never been loose. It does not surprise me that you have a tendency of blaming customers for your inadequacies and incompetence. You are a small business owner and I was referred by a friend. I do my best to support small businesses, especially when they are minority owned. However, on occasion you come across some that lack integrity and take advantage of people. I know my truth and my experience. The universe has a funny way of taking care of itself and I'm sure my experience isn't the only one. I hope you conduct better business moving forward and that others won't be made to spend more to fix issues that you have caused like myself. The shop can replace the same exact parts that he had already replaced for $300-$500. He overbooks himself and ends up having to reschedule times three. He will replace everything under the sun before he troubleshoots it properly. He does not keep his word reimbursement for parts that I have to go to the store and purchase because he never bothered replacing gaskets when he replaced my compressor. And because he didn't have the proper equipment when he arrived . Sure he can take apart a car and put it back together but he's not looking out for you he's looking out for his wallet. I had to tell him to Evac the AC system before he put freon in it. Then he blamed me for having to come put more freon in it when he had to do it all over again because of his inadequacies. He sat on the front of my car while he was looking on his phone. Smoked with dangling ashes over my engine. And the third time he came he finally never cleaned up all his greasy fingerprints all over the front end of the car. Also dropped tools that bumped against the front of the car.
