I met Vargas shortly after moving to Miami this year (2019) after I had just purchased my 2019 GMC Yukon. I drove over 2,000 miles from Houston, TX after getting done with a construction contract. Long story short, after the long drive, my car needed a oil change so I went to the local GMC and the hit was going to be $175+ tax. I started to look around and almost through a miracle, I ran into Vargas which not only change my oil for less than $80, he also gave me a in depth explanation of how my car operates and how to keep it running smoothly. Vargas is more than a service, he's the mechanic friend everyone which they had. After meeting him for the first time, he's on my quick dial and ANY time anything comes up with my car, he's the only one I trust on the matter! If you ain't friends with Vargas, you are missing out. Go and talk to him. Believe me you'll learn a thing or two from your car

After a long enjoyable birthday weekend, I woke up to a flat tire. I had originally asked CARMAX to…read moretake a look at fixing it, but when they returned my car 2 weeks ago we saw they completely forgot to tend to it. So, here we find ourselves in North Miami at an Air bnb having to call a tow truck with AAA and have a headache of a morning. Luckily the tow truck came pretty quickly. AAA had already located Piper Automotive on the phone that was an approved AAA business, so I had it sent there. While I was at work, Luis called and texted me updating me on what needed to be done and what didn't, which was a huge help. We ended up needing the 2 brand new front tires, which was expected. However, we also ended up needing to plug the right back tire due to having a tiny nail inside. We also asked for an alignment because it's a must when you get new tires. In the end, Piper was able to receive the car before 11am and fix everything by 5pm. They close at 5pm, but they stayed available for me to pick up my car at until 630pm, which was such a huge help. Besides the overall cost being a little more than expected, the experience went smooth, quality seems good and I'd recommend them.

They ended up charging me $360, and all that was needed was a new battery. The mechanic and I both thought originally that it needed a new starter but an hour later they were able to jump it. It would have been nice for them to offer me to come by and pick it up but they said they could get me a good deal with the battery because of my AAA membership. Little did I know they still hit me with a $130 fee for "diagnostic" even though I didn't ask for one. They also tried to sell me on additional issues that may creep up in the future, but everyone does that so no big knock there. The staff was friendly enough and they were quick, so that's something. But you can definitely find better value than here.

Took my car to a different shop the next day and got my checked and alternator fixed, ready to roll.

Salesman Jackie Babani and acquisition agent Jorge Carta at Brickell Motors have renewed my faith…read morethat good and honest people in the car sales business still exist. It should be noted that this was my 3rd vehicle purchase within about 12 years from this dealership. About 6 months ago I got a notice in the mail from Brickell Motors with a very attractive trade-in offer for my existing vehicle and I saw some great deals advertised on the internet for a new one I wanted. I came in for a service visit and met with Jackie in sales. That day we were just too far apart on the numbers and didn't reach a deal. The trade-in this dealership actually offered when I came here was much lower than the one they'd mailed to me - I was told that was due to "lawyer speak" and fine print in the ad they'd sent me. Also, the pricing I'd seen on the internet for the vehicle I wanted required that I lease it which I never do, and had a few other conditions that left me out. That said, even though we couldn't make the deal work that day, the one thing that struck me about Jackie was his honesty. When I was serious about buying again recently, I came here for an oil change and inspection and explained that while my vehicle was being serviced I wanted to see about buying a new vehicle while trading my existing one. I'd done my research on the price of the vehicle I wanted and knew what my trade was worth, I'd already been in contact with another GM dealer and had an appointment to see them the following day. Whichever of the 2 dealerships made me a better deal, would get the sale. Jorge Carta came to meet with me first, looked at my vehicle, took me to his office and put together a solid offer for the trade. He then took me to see Jackie the salesman who I knew from before. Unfortunately the vehicle I'd seen on the internet had been sold, but they had 2 similar ones in stock in the color I wanted, but with a few more options. We took a similar model for a test drive, and on the way back to the dealership, we stopped at one of Brickell Motors' storage lots to grab the one I was actually interested in. Their first offer wasn't terrible, but it was higher than where I needed to be financially, and the vehicle came with options like a heated steering wheel and seats which are unnecessary in South Florida. I asked Jackie if any other dealerships in the area had the exact model and features I wanted and he did look, but also thought he could make an agreeable deal for the one they had in stock. He met with his manager a second time, came back and made an offer that was solid and we shook on it. He filled it up with gas, had it cleaned and serviced, sent me to see the finance person to sign all the paperwork and I was out the door in my shiny new vehicle within about an hour after we agreed on the deal. Completely happy with this transaction for sure...
