Slow service. I purchased boots for my job but had to return them due to them not being proper boots. I go to return and they have a "no return policy" that they have no signs advertising and she said she would take my return but they have a $40 restocking fee. So I have to pay them to put the shoes on the shelf? I purchased a jacket from this store for $119 and it was the worst quality I have ever seen. I only wore the jacket for 2 hours, and when I took it off, there was so much lint all over my shirt and more lint fell onto the ground. You can wear it at MAX 2 times and it already looks like you have own the jacket for your whole life. It is seriously a crime to charge this much for a horrendous quality and looking jacket. I only get uniform allowance once a year, and I regret to have spent it on this. Even worse, I have to drive 45 minutes to this store, so it is not a quick trip. When I drove back again, I asked if I could return the jacket or even exchange it for something else. However, they handled it very unprofessionally - they were rude and told me that they would not accept anything and that the jacket was supposed to be like that. I have bought a jacket from this store before and it was fine, but this one is seriously disgusting. I can buy a better looking jacket with better quality for $15.99 on Amazon compared to what I got here. I do NOT recommend ever coming here or purchasing from here. If I could give this place negative stars, I WOULD. read more

This place is phenomenal. I dropped them off and unusual task of sewing a flight jacket together. It involved a lot of coordinating and getting some additional Velcro materials. They had a can-do attitude from the beginning and made it all work. I even drop shipped some Velcro so they could get it done the way I needed. Always an affirmative attitude and very well done. If you're in a pinch and have to have a supply for duty this place will work just be prepared to pay five to $10 over the price. They nickel and dime every chance they get i've been going here for almost 10 years and it has slowly gotten worse and worse. It never used to be like this, used to be a very good spot to go to with fair prices Great customer service, it seemed very family oriented. Now it just seems more focused on counting pennies. Don't pay with a credit card because they charge a fee of 1 to 2 dollars which is absolutely horse crap. Take the extra road trip and go to galls if you have the time. I'm done with this place. This review isn't for me but my boyfriend. We went inside this place for my bf new job that requires him to wear a uniform daily. To start, there was 2 ladies working. One was walking around and helping customers and the other was on the phone and perhaps was the seamstress? Neither acknowledged us until we started touching the uniforms. it felt a little rush but that's typical for a shop that is privately owned, there were clearly no standard of customer service upheld here. He used his allowance and was able to buy shirts but the pants needed to be ordered in his waist size and hemmed. They told him to call in periodically to check on their status. He began calling in every two weeks with no luck on his order. Keep in mind, all this time he is wearing down is personal clothes at work waiting on these uniforms. Eventually they tell him they will call within the month to let him know when they are ready.....its been almost two months and no call. My bf is so fed up that he is just waiting for this next allowance and will go elsewhere to buy his uniforms. I want the shop to know that they are highly disorganized and it essentially cost them a customer for 20+ years. My bf is in his mid 20's and just started as a post delivery worker, which means he would've been a returning customer for quite some time. But!! since they haven't been on top of their business and customer service, he will be driving a little further into Long Beach or LA to purchase from a shop that perhaps will actually tend to their work and care about customers returning. I plan on calling in myself and pressing for answers, my bf is very nice and takes their word for it, but I wont sit back and allow them to collect that money for free. He was recently asked by management why he isn't in full uniform yet and while explaining, a coworker chimed in that the same thing happened to him and he no longer goes there either. I had a bad experience this morning. I stopped by this morning to purchase some postal shirts with my uniform allowance. The lady wasn't helpful. She assumed I was a carrier and told me I can only purchase a certain kind of shirt. I told her I wanted to purchase some polo shirts. I end up walking out. It's a shame, I heard good things about this store. Up until today, a little advice for the lady at the store. Not everyone is a carrier. I am very disappointed in the service I received today. I have spent well over 1000$ for uniforms and other items for my academy at this store but there were items that I purchased that I didn't need so I brought them today to see if I could just exchange them not asking for my money back but all the lady that was helping me could say is no you have to keep the items. 10/10/2016 1pm Mom washed my lab coat with a pen in the pocket and turned my coat into a spotted moo cow cloak. Wahh! Needed a coat immediately, I went back here to pick up a new one... But sadly all need to be altered. The store lady was very kind to help me ASAP, and asked the seamstress in the back to alter the length and shoulders to my size.... For free! I was able to wear it one hour after purchase for work! With my name embroidered on the chest! I really appreciate the speedy and efficient service here, even though they're not all smiles, but honestly, who cares, they got sh*t done quick and price is right! Couldn't ask for more! read more

WOW!!! Just another example of a great experience with Mr. Uniform. I went in to pick up an extra shirt for work. I was expecting it to take about a day or two to get everything done that I needed. But, when I let them know it was for an awards luncheon the following week, they were able to speed up the process and get it done the same day so that I wouldn't have to make an extra trip. I went to this place because it was close to home & Galls has gone downhill with their customer service. I've been buying uniforms for 25 years. I brought them a couple of BDU shirts to alter. The didn't seem happy that I didn't buy the shirts from them. They wanted $212 for patches and alterations for the 2 shirts. That's just crazy! First time getting uniforms from Mr. Uniform. On a late notice they had all 5 sets of my uniforms ready a few short days later. Leila and Lupita (seamstress) treated me with awesome customer service as I was getting fitted. I am very particular with how I like my uniform to be fitted and both Leila and Lupita fixed all 5 of my pants the same day. I went to Mr. Uniform this past Friday to get a Search and Rescue uniform for my daughter. She procrastinated in telling me when she needed it so when we were asked when we needed it we politely indicated as soon as possible and were hopeful to have it by the next Thursday. They seem very busy so I was hopeful that timing would work. My daughter is very petite and they were wonderful in getting the right size and doing all the required pinning for alterations. What shocked me was while we were being helped with the alterations another employee was already doing the patches and name panels for the jacket and uniform. After everything was pinned they actually did the alterations right then so we did not have to come back (we live in Huntington). After the alterations they pressed her uniform and she tried it on, it fit perfectly and she was beyond happy. I would recommend Mr. Uniform without hesitation! read more
