Although she was assisting another customer, she remained focused on her customer, but also made us feel important. We went back and purchased a dress for my niece's Quince. We went back a few times as my niece wanted a specific crown and the owner was very accommodating and made this experience very pleasant. I would recommend this place. Worst tuxedo rental experience ever…read more First of all the woman in charge looks like she should be working at "Hot Topic", not a formal wear business. On my first visit I got measured and left deposit also agreed on a return date for the tuxedo (Monday after the Saturday event). During my second visit (pick up) the problems started. First of all I had to wait for a long time to be helped (she's the only employee) and on top of that she was rude. And to top things off she had changed the return date to Sunday the next day after my event (which was out of town). She claimed that they were closed on Monday, so I told her I would return it on Tuesday, she rudely shot me down. And finally to add insult to injury she kept my $10 deposit on a bogus claim. I am "Mr. Neat" and the tuxedo was returned in good condition (maybe she wanted me to dry clean it first before I returned it). So, if you don't want to have a bad time try another place instead, like AJ's Tuxedo right down the street from them.

This Nordstrom Rack has plenty of inventory it just happens to be average, overpriced items that can be found at the TJ Maxx right next door or somewhere between Marshalls and Kohls. Today was probably one of the few times that I actually was looking for a pair of shoes and they happen to be some hocus I don't believe Nordstrom Rack does price matching when they add their stickers to their products but a lot of their products are overpriced whether something is on sale or not is debatable. Today I was looking for On clouds or Hokas for my upcoming trip. The Nordstrom Rack usually has comparable prices to online at the on store or even the Hoka store but after researching several items including the one in the pictures below there's no reason to shop at Nordstrom Rack anymore, instead shop online and save 10 to 20%. I really do understand sales price meaning Hoka can run better sales in most cases as the manufacturer but most items are overpriced in Nordstrom Rack. Ralph Lauren polo shirts two to three years old are still running $70 even more expensive than the outlet price, basically Nordstrom Rack is overpriced in my opinion and this one in Bakersfield has given me reason to continue to go.
