This review is long overdue. VERY POOR QUALITY in tint. I got the ceramic tint done on my car but whenever it's hot I can literally feel the heat radiating off the windows. I have ceramic tint on another car put on from another place and there's a completely obvious difference. Went in to ask about why I can feel soo much heat and the main guy basically said that's normal, you're always going to feel heat. No it is not. I was referred to Mr Tint through a patient at a doctors office I work at. I had just bought a brand new 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and needed a trusted person to do tinted windows. I didn't even have to do much research since my first impression of the owner was GREAT when I called. I called and got a same day appointment (Saturday). My front two windows got a tint to match the passenger windows. I probably spent 45 min in Sam Club while I waited for my car to finish. I got a call that my car was done and to say the least I WAS IMPRESSED with how nice it looked and how great of a job he did. *****SAFETY ISSUE***** I've brought every vehicle I've owned here since moving to cali in 2018. They're local to me and always done a great job each and every time. Brought my wife's suv in to get her sunroof tinted. Called the shop to get pricing and appointment availability. I talked to Steve and told him I want to get the sunroof tinted with the best heat blocking they have. He gave me a quote and appointment time. We showed up for our appointment on time and go to check in the vehicle. The guy who greeted us asked what we were doing so I told him the same thing I told Steve on the call. He asks Steve "how much?" and Steve gives him a price. I say ok and then the guy asks "how dark?" I say the same thing I did on the phone when I set the appointment.... "whatever is the best heat blocking" and then he goes "oh well that's going to be ceramic instead. Hey Steve how much for ceramic?" And Steve raises the price again. I say "I thought the price originally was for the ceramic." "Yeah that was for (whatever the lower film is called)". We leave the car and wait a couple hours to get the call to get our vehicle back. Get the call. Head down to get the vehicle. We walk in and it's the same guy we talked to before. He says the price. I'm a veteran and this shop is in Norco so I ask if they have a military/veteran's discount. (As previously stated, I've been here a couple times so I know that Steve and the Norco community appreciate veterans and the sacrifice we've made for this great country) The guy says "oh no I can't do that. you should've asked earlier." I then tell him I've been here numerous times and Steve has always taken care of me and that I've referred a ton of friends and family to their shop because they do quality work. He doesn't give me a discount. It seems he doesn't appreciate vets the same way that Steve does unfortunately. Nonetheless, I pay and we leave. On the drive home I heard something rattling around in the back. My wife goes back there to inspect and finds that my one year old son's carseat has been loosely and improperly installed. That's not how it was given to them. We take safety very seriously. It appears they needed to move the carseat to help with space for the install. That is all okay. What's not okay is not saying anything about moving it. And then when they moved it back, THEY PUT IT IN THERE LOOSELY. There was no thought or care for my child's safety by this shop unfortunately. The tint install was great as usual. My only warning to anyone going here would be SPEAK DIRECTLY TO STEVE. HE IS THE OWNER, HE MAKES THE DECISIONS, AND HE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF AND APPRECIATE OUR COUNTRIES VETERANS. My reduction of stars is for the carelessness shown for my family's safety; not the quality of the tint job. *****IF YOU HAVE A CARSEAT FOR A CHILD, ENSURE THAT YOU CHECK IT'S INSTALLED PROPERLY.
