(As an aside, echoing other reviews, there was an older lady who seemed to have trouble running someone else's credit card and wanted to ask the customer for cash but was helped by a younger lady who completed the transaction. I knew nothing about movements or perpetual calendars, automatics, etc, but the sales associate that helped me was really knowledgeable and patient with me, as I had a lot of questions. I've always liked small mom & pop watch stores. These kinds of stores really know how to deal with customers and show tremendous expertise. My visit today was no exception. So I go in and have a battery replacement for my watch. I was expecting to leave it just come back for it as I had before in other stores. I was actually surprised that she told me to wait for 5 minutes. True enough, my watch was done after 5 minutes and she already checked all the components of my watch. And this was all for $25. I honestly do not know if this was cheap or not but one thing is for sure is that I am happy with the price and the customer service. Too bad I didn't get the lady's name who worked on my watch. 4 years after my first review, I have returned. My three watches needed new batteries. The same young lady took a look at my watches, quoted that it would take 10 mins, but she was done in 5! The two branded watches cost $12 each and one cheap fashion watch was $8. The super nice lady ran into trouble with the second one (Bell and Ross) because of a unique process to close the watch after it's been open. I have never written a bad review before for any business but the extreme rudeness and lack of professionalism I experienced at this business warranted this review. I came in to simply have my watch size adjusted, the woman stated that she cannot remove the number of links that are needed for my wrist size in order for it to fit as the band did not have enough screws and holes to match for it to be sized down that much. She suggested I get a new watch from the original manufacturer that would fit my size. When I simply asked her how many link she suggests I would need removed to determine what size to be ordered (simply seeking her professional opinion) she began to yell at me and said why should she tell me when I'm not paying for that information... she could have gently refused to share how many links she suggests I remove but instead she yelled at me and called me names. I was appalled by her reaction to the point I thought she did not understand the question so I repeated it. She continued to yell at me and said I'm not paying her any money. I left promptly after that. It's people like this with no humility or respect that I refuse to give any business to. read more

Been going here for probably 12 years to get batteries for my watches. They used to have a punch card program but apparently it ended when I brought in 6 watches last week. They do charge a fair price for installation around $6-8 per watch (some watches higher) , and within 30 minutes I had 6 running watches. I walked over to starbucks in the shopping center next door while they replaced them. A nice neighborhood small business you should patronize. read more

Dishonest, and extremely rude, I changed batteries twice there, and got a watch fixed once, then the same defect happened again shortly. When I took the watch back to them, they denied that they fixed it, and asked for payment again. And again they were horrible, and extremely rude. Very friendly and honest people working here. It took 5 minutes to change battery and price was lower than I expected.

I sent a message to Mr. Time via Yelp to request for a quote and got a response by the next morning from the owner. I took it to their store the next day and was not disappointed. I needed to replace my battery and strap for my Bulova watch and the whole thing cost about $30 which was also accurate to the quote she provided. I did have to drop it off and come back after a few hours by the owner gave me a call as soon as it was done. I will come back here again for any of my watch needs :) Ps: their large sign says Seiko Casio and and the Mr Time name is in smaller print on their door. Just brought my Seiko Diver's Automatic in because it stopped running, this morning. They said they would take a look and if no parts were needed, it would be $25. They tightened up something inside and said to monitor it and see how it runs. If they needed to do anything further, they would apply the $25 charge to the final bill. Awesome!! So far, so good.
