L Train has single handedly gotten me more "Damn where did you get that from lil bro it looks…read morefire..." than any other clothing store in Manhattan, and on an inflation buster budget. I'm so sick and tired of going into a "vintage" store where T-shirts are $100 and up. It goes against the whole ethos of vintage clothing smh. The whole fun of shopping vintage is coming up on a piece for the low. Shirts at L train are typically between $8-$15, unless they're hanging up on the wall then they will run you ahahaha. They have such a big inventory and wide selection of items that it may get overwhelming, but if you come in here locked in and keep your composure you will come up on something forsure. Go during the week though if possible, it's a ZOO on the weekends you'll be fighting for your life. I have gotten my 3 favorite pairs of jeans here for under $40 total, the velvet suit jacket I'm wearing in the attached pic for $12, some Lebron 3s that have become my outdoor hoop shoes for $40, and more shirts than I can count. L Train is so great, in fact, that it has almost become cool to hate on. If you're lowkey insecure about your homie having a better fit on than you, you try to get ahead of it and clown him by saying "You hit L Train today, huh?" THANK YOU L TRAIN! PLEASE DON'T SWITCH UP! Terrible customer service. It made me want to leave immediately. But I decided to browse the selection, because despite her horrible attitude I thought maybe I could find something I really liked and I'm not going to let a nasty worker stop me. I was wrong. The selection was awful. My nose ran like crazy from the dust. Everything was so dirty, dusty, and in terrible condition. And the prices? For what the pieces were, were ridiculous. Skip this place. When you drop a lot of weed, you don't want to have to replace your whole wardrobe at premium prices. I picked up some great pieces for someone. My age, things like Liz Claiborne and Ann Taylor dresses & blouses. I found a great pair of Michael kors pants, too. But my absolute favorite find was a pair of Sergio Valente jeans from the very early '80s that I coveted when I was young. I never had them, I wanted them, and they fit! They look brand new and we're only $7.99. My daughter bought a whole bunch of stuff including a really cute hello Kitty sweater. We got so much stuff. We overfilled the bag and still only paid 60 bucks. I can't wait to go back, there is so much stuff. You do have to wait on a long line to check out. However, I thought it was worth it considering how much we brought home.

I had gone to numerous other shops with no success but as soon as I walked into this store I found 5 pieces that I was ecstatic over. It being my birthday, I bought them all!! The salesperson Tanya was so helpful without being overbearing and turned out to be the owner. I cannot stand perfumes, cleaners or musty clothing so I couldn't believe how clean everything was. The clothes were so fresh without any horrible laundry or old perfume smell on them. I give this thrift/resale shop a solid 10/10. You can see by the photos how ecstatic I was. I ran out onto the street and had my husband do photos of my new pieces!!!
