I had a wood-fired pizza from the specials menu which was delicious and perfectly cooked They also have a great wine list and a solid cocktail menu, so there are plenty of options no matter what you're in the mood for. We sat at the bar, and our bartender, I believe his name was Chase, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had the typical chill attitude you'd expect from a local bar. Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks, great service, and excellent value. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in West Palm Beach.

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. Perfectly charred, incredibly delish. The clams more than made up for the subpar mussels I had elsewhere the night before, too. My husband got the BBQ pizza and was very happy - both for dinner, and for the next day's lunch. I got the chicken parm, and also had plenty for a large lunch the next day. (and the green beans that came with were also JUST the way i like them - not overcooked, garlicy, and delish). Zero complaints. We won't be able to navigate a second visit this trip, but would 100% put it on our to-dos the next time.

I had the redfish catch of the day in tomato artichoke broth and asparagus risotto, and it was fabulous. The salmon and the jambalaya that others at the table got were also delicious. The chocolate bread pudding for dessert was also quite good. The owner/chef and her son took great care of us. Nice ambience - we will be back!

You have a special bottle or beer you like, just bring it. They will keep it chilled for you. Forgot your bottle? Go steps away and get your choice. Now for the food: Each of us had the FRESHLY caught items, from lobster roll, shrimp/scallop special, and the huge red snapper with risotto. We had to take some portions home, Everything was so tasty. The service was over-the-top and attentive. Very knowledgeable and helpful with our selections. Coastal is an intimate dining venue, it is small, so it is wise to have reservations. Located on J-Street next to the famous Rudy's, it is very easy to miss. So happy we finally got a chance to visit Coastal. I love their menu selections, fresh seafood, and great service.

I would normally get seafood from a place like this but I just had seafood a few days ago from a similar spot. I decided to try their wings and mozzarella sticks. I had lemon pepper and buffalo hot wings. They were delicious! The mozzarella sticks were good also but I've had better I've also had worse. The drinks were very strong and in a good way! Not watered down at all. Note: on Thursdays after 10pm. It turns into straight adult night lol!! All in all though it was a good time. I would return to try their seafood though.

We went for an early dinner, and parking was easy with plenty of spaces available. One downside before even getting there was the road leading into the restaurant, lots of potholes and gravel made it feel a little rough getting in. Service started a bit slow as it took some time before we were greeted, but once our server came over, she immediately brought water and was very friendly throughout the meal. The menu was a little confusing and felt all over the place. The "appetizers" were mostly fried foods that honestly seemed more like à la carte meal items. Along with that, they offered low country boil bags, fried rice dishes, and Asian noodle options, just an unusual combination overall. We ordered one of the boil bags along with a few appetizer items. Everything tasted good, and there really wasn't anything bad about the food. The crab legs were definitely the highlight of the meal. That said, nothing really stood out enough to make it memorable, especially for the price point. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it's probably a one-and-done visit for us. Glad we tried it, but not somewhere we'd likely return to.
