They were even able to remove the dark walnut stain from the stairs and refinish them in a natural oak stain. They look brand new. We had Empire do our back room (amazing customer service, fast, cost effective, and great installation crew), but they didn't have the style carpet we wanted for our stairs. Our rep, who recommended Dalene, pointed us in their direction. I originally emailed for a call back, but never received any contact. My husband and I went in to the store, chose a carpet sample, and our info was taken, with the promise we would receive a call by end of day (the installer was with another customer). We didn't receive a call back, so I called a week later. I was told they would call us back that day (my husband and I reiterated who we spoke to and the name we were provided) - we never received a call back. Over 2 weeks later, we still have the sample, have emailed and called on multiple occasions, and have never received a call back. We will go elsewhere. It's sad, because I love to support local business, and I understand the landscape and understaffing right now, but to never even receive a call, I'm done chasing this business. I'll spend my money elsewhere. Disappointed. I'd give 0 stars, not even 1.
