He was hesitant to provide cabinets that we were going to transport to site, but agreed. The cabinets were beautiful, sturdy all wood construction, and better quality than the box store ones we had looked at. He and his dad delivered the cabinets to my home, and even told me how to load our trailer for transport. Bill included everything our carpenter needed for the install and he offered his cell to the carpenter in case there were any issues or damaged items. The price Bill quoted was less than the big box store particle board cabinets and much, much less than any other kitchen cabinet vendors we contacted. I appreciate that he listened to what I wanted and didn't try to up-sell. Thank you for a great experience!

The second provided an outrageously high quote/lead time and then there was Bill. He not only showed up the next day to do measurement and design, his price was well within our budget. Over the next several weeks while my wife and I tweaked the design, Bill was more than accommodating and went above and beyond every time. Once delivered after an extremely short lead time from order, I was blown away by the quality of the cabinets. Stair Replacement - Nutmeg just completed removing my old carpeted stairs with a new gorgeous…read morestaircase. The approach Jonathan took to explain the Nutmeg process provided me with confidence I picked the right company. Jonathan inspected and measured the staircase (twice) and explained it was a two-day process from start to finish. He was true to his word. The first day the existing stairs were removed and prefinished stringers, risers and oak treads were installed by knowledgeable and experiences carpenters . On day two, the finish painter came over and filled every nail hole and touch up painted everything to perfection. The results are outstanding! The quality of the planning, along with the expert carpenters and painters, made the entire experience pleasurable. I would highly recommend Nutmeg to anyone considering work in their home.

We needed new cabinets and our contractor suggested this company. We thought we were being clever…read moreby going with a locally- owned, small- business. Nope. We were fools. Should've gone to Home Depot or Lowe's. Not only would it have been over 80% cheaper but it would've been quality, come on time, and would have had some guarantee. First they took forever getting us the cabinets with no updates unless we badgered them. Then they finally shipped them only to have had them made in the wrong color. They hassled us and charged us extra to have them repainted in the color we originally agreed on. They continued to hassle us for money and add- ins that made no sense. They sent hardware with screws that didn't fit so we had to go a buy screws separately. We've been using the cabinets for under a week and the paint is already chipping. So we spent a hefty sum on a new kitchen just to have flaking, gross cabinets. They designed it in such a way that there is no surface between our stovetop and our range so there's no where to hold or prep food and walls get splattered with grease. They were being weird about the stone we picked - wanting to nickel and dime us over extra inches (that, they didn't account for when building the cabinets so there wasn't adequate support.) Don't ever use this place. I couldn't save us, but I'm trying to save you. Now to figure out the paint color we requested so that we can try to fix the chips ourselves because they're never any help.
