We have heard of Korean desert Bingsu for a while, but no time to try. Tonight we had dinner…read moreoutside and want some sweet afterwards. I searched around, this store was nice and more comments. So we decided to come here. Midland is a well known location that not hard to find. There was 1 more hours to be closed, when we walked in. But the casher was not rush me. She just let us know we could scan the QR code for the menu on the table, and come up to the counter to order, when we are ready. We were debating which one to get, Golden Mango or Matcha Mango Bingsu. The cashier said Golden Mango is giving different texture, even though it's all mango flavor; the Matcha Mango is using matcha shaved ice as base, then top with Mango fresh fruit. So we final decision was the Golden Mango Bingsu. Once we ordered, we got a electric alert board. We won't wait long, the alert board was beeping when our order was ready. I went back to the counter to get my Bingsu. This desert is not big that costs $12.55+tax. Sago has no taste. Fresh mango is on the top, mango base is mango flavored shaded ice, which is like ice cream that smooth. Mango sauce as layer is in the middle of the base, which makes stronger taste. Overall, it's pretty tasty and fresh. That's another type of ice cream for me. The store was open until late night, and I was seeing couples coming in. That reminded me long time ago when we were young. Enjoy the desert and also enjoy the late night life.

The menu is extensive, with many drinks, sweets and even savory options. We got the mango bingsu, green tea red bean bingsu, the milk tea bingsu and the pomelo and mango coco drink. I liked the green tea bingsu the most as the ice was very fine and creamy. The milk tea was very choppy and I didn't like the texture as much. I think it's part of the aesthetic, but they serve the bingsu piled up super high in proportionally small bowls. They fully expect a mess so they provide trays for every bingsu to catch the mess as it melts, floods pass the bowl, syrups drip off the ice and toppings topple off. I wish they would just put it in a properly sized bowls instead of the mess. Also, the wooden trays are chipped and broken which doesn't feel hygienic. Service was super friendly even though it was busy, so extra star for the hardworking staff.

I ordered half a dozen a few weeks ago and I've got one left. The only reason I have one and not none is because Dad refuses to eat condensed milk. Yep. They have a couple flavors of paletta with condensed milk centres. I don't know how they do it but the condensed milk doesn't freeze, so when you bite into your paletta, the condensed milk still oozes. It's magical. I've tried a whole bunch of flavors including oreo, peanut butter with reese cup, hazelnut with nutella, yogurt and berries, pistachio, strawberry, strawberry with condensed milk, passionfruit with condensed milk, and perhaps a few more I've forgotten. My favorites are the pistachio (super creamy, really nutty) and the hazelnut, I think. They're also Dad's favorites so that's a win too. Next on my list is their kitkat and all of their cheesecakes (dulce de leche, strawberry, there's one more but I'm forgetting it).

As the name suggest it is beautifully presented like flower. With peach, grapefruit, fruit puree on a shaved milk ice topped with whipped cream is the best! Its good to eat it in as it'll melt right away if you have it as to go. Also, we tried their fruit cups (mango) with whipped cream a little sweet to me but its also good. Staff are friendly, not much people when we visited and you'll get your order quickly. Clean space inside. Plenty of parking in the plaza, but weekends get to be busy.

Came here after dinner for some croffle and ice cream. This place was quite busy on a Friday night,…read morethere was about a 15min wait. The hostess took your name and number, waited by the lobby to get called in. The restaurant is bright with tons of seats including patio seatings. Our server was Ayman on his first day and he was truly kind and you can feel customer service when he spoke with you. We ordered a croffle but he brought in a waffle so it was a wrong order. We asked if we can just have the waffle and he got the okay, after the croffle came. The mistake wasn't really his fault since my friend had a thicker accent where croffle and waffle sounds quite the same. I would say the croffle isn't as good as the croffles in Cups which is why I was craving for it for dessert. That's the reason for one star less. Otherwise everything else is great! Pricing is on the higher side by the way but the portion is ginormous. I'll be coming here again after a small appetizer at a restaurant then here for dessert! Rating 4.2/5

We were greeted by the waitress and we ordered the bisco fever Belgian waffle. It took a while for the waitress to come back to take our order, I noticed she is the only worker on the floor and was tending to every table so the last couple of times it was the same thing, everything took longer to get the waiter/waitress' attention. One thing I wish is that there is another worker so that it doesn't take so long to order the dessert or get water. This was my favourite Belgian waffle, it had blondes, biscoff sauce that was nice and warm, biscoff cookie crumble with honey vanilla ice cream. Everything worked well together and tasted amazing. I loved the warm and crispiness of the waffle. It was definitely the star dessert at demetres! It was presented nicely with icing sugar and sauce over the waffles. I would most likely order this waffle again next time!

We were worried there won't be enough sesame, but there was two layers so fret not. It was also just the right amount of sweet, coming with sesame ice cream, red bean paste and some mochi which was soft and added good texture. Overall a nice spot for bingsoo and I want to try the strawberry one next time.
