I was in the unfortunate position of having to find a…read moreplace to stay for about six weeks after I accepted a job offer in the area and needed something temporary until my husband could join me. I visited several hotels to see if anyone had long term rates they were offering and found this hotel to be in a convenient location and looked decent, so after confirming with one of the employees that I would receive rewards points for my stay (because I dam* sure wasn't staying anywhere that long unless I was going to get some points out of it!), I went ahead and booked my stay. Keep in mind this was a face to face meeting during which I was assured I would get the rewards, not a phone call. After spending several thousand dollars on my stay, I checked out on the last day and received my printed bill with a nice little note (sarcasm here) saying that my stay was not eligible for rewards due to the rate I'd received. Again, this stay was not a night or two - it was 6 weeks and cost several thousand dollars. The desk employee couldn't provide an explanation as to why the owner had not honored his employee's assurance that I would receive the points, so I asked that he give me a call so we could get it worked out. The owner proceeded to ignore my calls for days until I finally caught him on the line during one call. We discussed the situation and he agreed to provide points due to the length and cost of my stay, but said that since he was manually inputting the points into the system, that I would have to call corporate to ensure they were deposited into my account. I followed up with corporate and the points were deposited. However, some time later, I went back to my account to attempt to book a room with the accrued points and found they had been removed. In speaking with corporate, I learned that the owner (Sanjeed is his name, by the way) had called and told corporate to remove the points from my account only days after he and I had spoken. Neither he nor corporate notified me. Corporate refused to replace them unless Sanjeed called back in to acknowledge that I should receive them. I called the hotel and left messages for him with desk employees, but not surprisingly, he has refused to return my calls. This guy REALLY knows how to lose a customer, one that paid thousands of dollars to stay there at that! I will ensure that every person I know visiting the area will book elsewhere so they won't be scammed by Sanjeed. Need more reason not to stay there? The clientele is pretty much all oilfield workers who take the place over, including the dining area where they sit around drinking beer and make a mess, as well as the laundry facility where they leave their filthy clothes in the machines for hours at a time without consideration for other guests. The beds are extremely hard and are uncomfortable to sleep on, so be prepared for a backache in the morning. The pool may or may not be up and running and if it isn't, be prepared for it to have a foul brown color to the water. No telling what is in it. The one positive note I have is that a couple of the front desk employees are extremely friendly and eager to please. Too bad Sanjeed's apparent desire to scam his guests negates all their efforts.

Its great if you want waffles and cold cereal but for breakfast you have to go out and get your own.I mentioned this to the people working the front desk and they say that they have told him numerous times that the breakfast he serves is by far nothing like the other hotels. We will be staying somewhere else in the future. I guess he doesnt think it is a good idea to spend a little to keep his clients happy. Today they brought me home a Large Margarita with an extra 2 shots. Yowza. Maybe I'm just a light weight but that was strong. Maybe for my first experience, I shouldn't have added extra shots. I guess you can grab beer at this place as well. I've actually never seen a drive-thru "bar" before. Like, they put a piece of tape across the top of the drink but it still shocks me that places like this are legal. So the tape allows you to drive around with it?
