Sino Mall Food Court - Food court and mall entrance

I finally came here for an early dinner after work on a Wednesday and I loved my experience. Google Maps got me to the back entrance of the food court. Since I was new to this food court, I decided to park where I normally do on the other side, with the Chinese gateway arch and where all business are easily accessible. I parked in front of CoCo Fresh Tea and Juice and walked into the mall entrance. I passed by Al Premium Food Mart to get to the food court. I was happy to see it busy with folks chowing down just past 3 pm. Cay Cay, a Vietnamese snack and banh mi stall, got me here. I ended up getting paper rice rolls and a corn dog. Yummy! Sadly, two out of their three drinks were sold out. I wasn't a fan of wintermelon as a drink. Instead, I went to the stall next door, Moteru Sushi, and got a Diet Coke. Both stalls accept credit and debit cards. I was pleased, because I rarely have cash on me. Chibugan Eh, Wokman's Kitchen, and Luen Hing Barbeque accept cash only. There is Tsui Xiang Tsuen, which also seems to accept cash only. I saw a cash register and a calculator when I passed by this eatery. I was happy to see CoCo. I don't remember it being here when I last visited this mall. I decided to get a bubble tea. It's cool that you can access this business from the food court and from the parking lot. Staff were friendly and nice. I loved my strawberry black tea with coconut jelly. I spent a good hour sitting at a table, enjoying my food and drink. The chairs go down when you sit on them. It was different. Each table has four seats. It was spacious and nice having my meal here. I used the washroom before I headed home. It was clean. The stall that I used was a bit tight between the door opening inward and the toilet. It was weird, but I managed to get in and out of the stall without calling for help. I want to return for more good eats and drinks. Moteru Sushi has Korean and Japanese food. I saw someone order ramen, which made me drool. I'd also like to try beef ho fun from Tsui Xiang Tsuen. I need to remember to get some cash. (370)

It's funny that a few years ago, after going for an interview at then RIM (now Blackberry), that I…read moreneeded a rest stop. I visited a Walmart and did some shopping before driving home. I figured out last weekend that this Walmart is connected to Fairview Park Mall. Hey, better late than not knowing at all! I spent a few hours at this mall. I ate at the Bourbon St. Grill. The food was yummy, although it was the first place where green beans had a mix of cabbage and a few carrot slivers. My best purchase was at Sephora. I bought two bottles of Formula X nail polish for $7 each. The regular price was $16 each. The mall has almost all the stores that Conestoga Mall does not have. There are some exceptions, of course, such as Green Earth and Bourbon St. Grill. I also bought a car sun visor from Showcase for $5. I was happy with my finds. I had a good shopping experience. The mall offers free wifi. It's clean. (184)

Meh, nothing special…read more Unless you're one of those people who want to see one of the last Wal-Marts in the old design, again nothing special. The food court has some nice unique restaurants, and the mall itself does have the region's only Hollister store. The bus terminal here is dangerous. I've seen many close calls with pedestrians being hit by either buses or cars. I wish they designed it better...it's particularly bad between 3 and 3:30pm weekdays when all the high school kids get off their buses.

This mall is probably one of my favourite hideaway, if I'm not at work you'll find me...doing lunch…read morein the area and shopping! The mall has a lot of changes, pre pandemic the indoor ice rink in the mall open with promotion free ice skating- and if you were a spectator you can ooo and ahhh at the pet store with the puppies in the window. Just fyi that pet store is gone now. I've dont some uber ests pick up coincidentally in the mall, there hadn't been a food place I quite enjoyed for quality or hidden gem and the markings on the floor for social distancing are Soooooo confusing. The mall has a few entrances, you can enter from the main entrance where the Osmows and east side Mario is. My favourite less crowded entrance is the back where the new bowling alley is, the entrance has enough parking you can turn in from Conestoga Blvd and you're there -plus the Zehrs is there the Starbucks inside (yay). There is some good outlet shopping here, theres a Marshall's and theres some others. I swear I bought the cutest cocktail champagne dress that was retail $200 for $20, so there are deals here. Now that the pandemic restrictions have been lifted there are return options where stores were pretty much forcing final sale. So if you're in the area or just need an indoor walking gym, this is the place. It feels empty but I feel my shopping is efficient, no lines up :)
