So we gave it a shot. The Good: It was nice and clean, hardwood floors, open front so there was a lot of fresh air. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful and the menu!!! There used to be a place in Toronto called The Yellow Griffin with a similar concept of multiple burgers with interesting toppings, sadly their quality dropped under new management and the eventually went under, i had been looking for a similar type place with great quality and here it was! The food arrived pretty quickly and boy was it good! I had the Malibu Melt ( I think it was called) a burger with three cheeses and an onion ring to hold it all together with a side of Onion rings. Delicious and satisfying, I would go back there in a heartbeat! The Bad: i have to go all the way to Guelph for this one, but there are two locations in Toronto. The Ugly: I really have nothing. Good Job guys!

The appetizers (calamari, mozza sticks, and wings) were great! Very solid choices although personally the wings (medium) were a little too sweet for us. Service was ok but the waitress did seem a bit stressed. The mains, however, were a bit disappointing. The burgers were just ok, my halloumi in the halloumi salad was burnt (although the salad itself was great), and the children's cheese sandwich was also burnt. The fish & chips were very oily. Usually I really want to like and rate local establishments well as I am a local myself, but burnt food is a no-no and unfortunately with kids I don't really have the time to ask for a remake. Great vibes for a good beer though.

The tenders I did enjoy, but hated that they were going to charge for $2 for plum sauce, that should have been given to me as it was on the menu stating the dish came with this condiment. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, and my wings were room temperature when they arrived. The staff were very new it appears, and were not sure about anything on the menu. This place has been around for a very long time, and after returning home from 2 years away, I wasn't sure if I should be surprised or not that it is still around. For anyone growing up here, you would know this place was the family joint that was perfect for the footlong hot dog, burger and batch of onion rings. I stopped by for old times sake, and the place still has the feel of greatness to it. Unfortunatley the food quality is not the same anymore. The hotdog was pretty bland, and just your average dog. But, the experience is fun. So if you're looking for a quick bite with your family or friends, want to get a massive dog, some onion rings, and old style Dad's root beer, this is the place. The staff are still fun, and they are pretty busy at times. I feel however, that it might be time to put this place to bed once and for all, before it's stellar reputation out grows itself. Speaking of which, I do not understand why I am the first reviewer here. It seems ridiculous!
