Went for a chill Saturday lunch with my Dad - I was visiting him and thought I should get him out to a place he hadn't been in a while. Decided on The Wooly - and they didn't disappoint. They have a small menu, and the food they have they do well! Great list of craft beers, tasty food (we started with the antojitos, I had the cheese burger, my dad had the maple cranberry wrap), and friendly attentive service! I think the last time we went was in very very early 2020. Will definitely be back.

Came out to the patio during COVID. They had extended the patio over the parking lot which gave plenty of room. They lay out vegetarian and kids meal options which was great. They have 3 or 4 different veggie burger options when we were there. We ordered the veg cheese burger, sweet potato fries and the kids mac n cheese. Everything was ok. Ordered a white wine sangria which had a strong orange juice tasted so not recommended. Service was friendly. The star of the show was the salted toffee cake dessert. This is a must have!

The Wooly Pub was wonderful, we immediately felt welcome and at home on a fairy busy Saturday evening. We had a small wait at their compact bar area, where they have an impressive selection of craft beer and cider from Ontario, including 4 beers on cask. I had a delicious reuben made with pork belly on artisanal rye bread. Hubby had a delightfully messy bacon cheeseburger. Both came with homemade fries. We finished off with sticky toffee pudding served with vanilla ice cream. When we got the bill, the pudding was $0.00. I asked our server who to thank, and he said it was him. I said thank you, but why? Just because he wanted to. ;-) We returned to the bar as hubby wanted to try another beer. There, he sat next the bar manager Paul, who upon my husband's admiration of a beer goblet, gifted it to him. When my husband tried to buy a t-shirt and they didn't have any in XL, the bartender gave him a L with the old logo on it for free. Wish they were closer or we lived closer, this would definitely be our "local".

Had a great night here out with the girlfriend last month. Really enjoyed the beers, servers are all knowledgeable about the choices and the draft selection is great. Absolutely love the smash bomb atomic IPA, was pleased to see it on tap. As for the food we had the "roasted peanut hummus" which I found to be over seasoned and misleading as well since it was nothing like a hummus should be, but it still got eaten. Also tried their "Sea salt and pepper" wings which is supposedly their specialty.. They were good but too expensive in my opinion, shouldn't cost that much for a pound of wings. Girlfriend had the bison burger which was delicious but the patty looked really small My suggestion would be to get some Dieu du Ciel beers on tap if you really wanna have something unique, that would be awesome Will definitely be returning

Good food! Awesome wings! Great beer selection. $100 for 3 people w. Wine and beer. Try the fish taco served on naan bread . Nice vibe and a popular local spot Really good beer selections on tap with local and micro breweries. Can get busy on any given night for obvious reasons and they do have a small patio in the back. The "Wooly" as it is locally known is the place to hang out with friends and family. The quality of the food is top notch here. Not your typical pub grub.

The appetizers (calamari, mozza sticks, and wings) were great! Very solid choices although personally the wings (medium) were a little too sweet for us. Service was ok but the waitress did seem a bit stressed. The mains, however, were a bit disappointing. The burgers were just ok, my halloumi in the halloumi salad was burnt (although the salad itself was great), and the children's cheese sandwich was also burnt. The fish & chips were very oily. Usually I really want to like and rate local establishments well as I am a local myself, but burnt food is a no-no and unfortunately with kids I don't really have the time to ask for a remake. Great vibes for a good beer though.

Give me a break, there was beer involved and 315 is WAY more fingers and toes than I have! FGB is built out in an old garage. Not a lot of seating inside and a woefully small bar but it does have a nice patio area out back. It was pretty much empty when I arrived with only two customers. No one was at the bar and I ended up standing around for about five minutes while the brewer and another guy were getting stuff done. I was just about to walk out when one realized the server had left to pick up food for the other customers. No hard feeling as these things happen but they should pay more attention. More than enough said. I ordered a flight of four, out of the six they had on tap. The cherry sour had a very nice cherry aroma and flavor but to overly sour. SWPFTD might disagree though as she doesn't care for sours. The Dutch blonde ale was up next. Very light with a hint of a bready flavor at the end. Breakaway IPA was a light aroma and bitterness IPA with a little haze to it. Easy drinking as far as I'm concerned. Last up was Stone Hammer dark ale, which had a malty flavor but a little harshness on the finish. This was not hops but I didn't love this one. FGB seems like a cool little local hangout. A few more folks came in but it was surprisingly empty for a Friday at 5:30. I was in-town on a Monday and I know it's lockdown, but many good restaurants/bakeries were also closed. So aside from grocery stores + their breweries, there wasn't much to see in the City! Girl who was working was quite friendly and explained their 10 options they had for sale. I picked up a few cans. I was told that there are 3 different Fixed Gear locations: this one in the Junction has a taproom, the one on Alma does NOT have a taproom, and they recently opened up their "Canteen" which has a pizza oven. Apparently, they were hoppin' prior to the lockdown. I *may* update my review...after trying out my cans, so cheers!

It was a busy place when I walked in and fortunately has food as I needed some badly. They have a lot of beers and a few ciders on tap, I counted 17 today. I went with a flight of four, which felt very restrictive and not very inclusive. The Berserker raspberry lemon sour was up first. This had a very light color and good flavor to it. The flavors worked together very well. The Luminance DIPA was recommended by the charming young lady next to me at the bar. I hadn't chosen a fourth beer and told the beer tender I'd take his choice in the matter. He went with the luminance. And I'm glad he did. Nice flavor throughout. Solid beer here! The Absolute Elsewhere maibock was a good example of the style. Fairly light and easy to drink overall. Last, maybe, was the smoked honey brown ale. I ordered this since SWPFTD loves browns and reds. This was pretty tasty and I think SWPFTD would have enjoyed it.
