Customer service has on point. Ordered the whole chicken, cold slaw and rice/beans. Chicken is VERY Flavourful and not over salted like most rotisserie chicken. Cold slaw is good and rice n beans, I definitely will be back when I'm in Pensacola around dinner time or lunch, I'll even put this above Publix rotisserie chicken and that's saying something, the price is very reasonable also.. if you haven't been here then you should...

We couldn't stay away for long. Delicious every time. The chicken is so good. Today my husband had red beans and rice mixed and Abuadito Soup which he loved. I absolutely love coming in here everyone is so polite and friendly, the food is amazing and it's a clean restaurant. The owner is so sweet. Another awesome meal, thank you.

Locally owned simple Charcoal chicken cafe. Quick & easy pickup to go or eat in the cute little bright dining area. There are many combos to choose from, we get the combo for 4 it's really good for 2 people. It comes with a whole chicken & 4 sides of your choice. We get the Mac & cheese it's very yummy white cheese. We each have to have our own. The pico salad is a must as we like to make tacos with our charcoal chicken. The side salad is also very fresh & yummy the dressing is a limey ranch style it's very good. Def try it. All the complimentary sauces are very good. We like all of them, the cilantro cream sauce, hot sauce & especially the onions in vinegar. They do have some cold beer in the cooler, bottled water, sodas & desserts are all grab & go. Recommend. Loved the chicken, well flavored and juicy and tender. Yuca was perfectly crisp and plantains were nice and ripe. Service was friendly. They don't offer water, only bottled. Place was busy as it is very popular. Prices are very reasonable and parking was easy. Great lunch spot!!!

Once you order a Mr. Pollo chicken, you'll never want to eat one from Publix or WD again. Super moist, seasoned perfectly, and served with a smile. I called in my order and it was being placed on the counter as I got there. I got the whole chicken and Two sides. Mac and cheese was delicious and the pasta wasn't overcooked and mushy. Cole slaw is mayo based which we like. I swear we ate from that order at least three times. I've also gone there with friends for lunch. The first time I went, I wasn't sure if we should stay because of the tight quarters and overall atmosphere. Once I got hooked on their food, I didn't care if they fed us on a backhoe in the back room. Their tostadas are amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Goodbye KFC, Popeyes, and Churchs! This is now my go to spot for chicken! Don't go here looking for fried chicken because this isn't where you'll find it. This Lebanese spot is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. The chicken is cooked rotisserie style over charcoal, hence the name charcoal chicken and it is absolutely amazing! They have a few tables to sit and eat or you can take your food to go. We had the whole chicken with 2 sides and at $24.50 it's a steal! Everything we had was very good and we ran into some regulars who said everything on the menu is delicious. I'll definitely be returning and possibly trying other things, no promises because the chicken is just that good lol

Amazing food always! The food is always consistent when I come in so you never have to worry about getting a bad batch! The yuca and garlic sauce are to die for. I don't think I've ever had a sauce as good as their garlic sauce I wish I knew how to make it. If I had one thing bad to say it's that the sauce is $.75 for the smallest little container I go through at least five with my order

My husband has celiac- & is highly sensitive. (This place was recommended on another app - Find Me GF) Regardless, anytime we try somewhere new we are nervous to say the least. Mr. Pollo is a WIN! The food was absolutely delicious & they couldn't have been nicer. We had the chicken for 2 (whole chicken), fried plantains, black beans & rice & French fries! We could have done w/out the fries - hubby just wanted them. They will give you little cups of sauces... put some of the pickled white onions on the black beans & rice - thank me later! Lol The light green creamy sauce was great on the plantains & chicken. Honestly, everything was amazing. We have enough chicken left over for 2 more meals! We will be back! Mr. Pollo is authentic and delectable Latin American food! They represent first-rate hospitality with the staff and the flavors of Venezuela! The charcoal chicken is absolutely amazing. We jokingly call it "crack chicken." Flavor bursts through each bite. Always get the bigger size, trust me, you'll eat the left overs later. All of the sides are amazing. My personal favorites are the plantains, rice and black beans, yuca, (I never enjoyed this before traveling to South America, now I love it), and all their amazing desserts. I love the food here! The rotisserie chicken is amazingly charred just right! So a "Sazón Latino " with a delicious sides cole slaw , Mac and cheese and for dessert a delicious Tres leches! Yummy! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Salsa verde is my favorite sauce! Spicy, it has a nice kick to my rice and chicken! Black Beans and Rice, Fried Yucca too! Just tried Mr. Pollo for the first time. Don't think I ever saw this place before. We traveled from Crestview to eat here and wow, it was worth the drive! Delicious Venezuelan charbroiled chicken! Mr. Pollo is a fantastic gem! Love it! You have to love the local family owned places. The food was outrageous! Ordered the family meal for 6 and the chicken was amazing. Succulent, tasty, perfectly cooked. We couldn't have asked for a better meal. For some reason we contemplated Popeye's across the straight. Said No One!! Great place. I swear on everything, if I knew this man was single I would marry him. We order lunch for our office of 10 people. We get the family meal. I was skeptical at first because my moms a healthy support small businesses kinda woman, but holy Christina Aguilera on a bun, she made me a believer. First off, the chicken is off the chain. It's got plenty of flavor and it's moist enough to where it's juicy without having to worry about it falling apart. Then there's the plantains, oh shit I love them things, they're like fried bananas. Then my favorite; the motherfucking Mac and Cheese. This Mac and Cheese is the end all be all of Mac and Cheese. Kraft Mac and Cheese ain't got SHIT on Mr. Pollo's divine Mac and Cheese. And it feeds a bunch of people too. Like our office of 10 can plow through 1 or sometimes even 2 of these family meals and we're going home 100lbs heavier than coming into work. read more

This place is incredible. I drove all the way from Manhattan in the middle of my work day, randomly because I saw this place pop up on tiktok. I told my boss I was going out for lunch and proceeded to drive 23 hours straight, not stopping until I hit the parking lot. As I ate the chicken it became increasingly apparent that I had made the right choice, this place knows chicken. This place lives, and breathes chicken. The sides were phenomenal and the atmosphere was more homely than anything you can find in a 30 miles radius of the dystopian environment I hail from (IE NYC). We have this at my school delivered to us (our school is partnered with them) and we would get uncooked beans and pasta. I think another kids review is the best, "It tastes like a wet sock", this kid eats food off the floor and he won't eat this. This place is so bad that when nobody was getting it I thought they stopped the lunch program. Kids would rather not eat than eat this and that defines Mr. Pollos. I have never had Peruvian food, but a friend of mine took me because she is Peruvian and she wanted some, but didn't want to cook. We ordered take out, which took about 30 mins before pick up. We took it home and ate. It was SOOO DELICIOUS, my friends told me that it is some of the best Peruvian food she has had. We ate the black beans and of course chicken read more

Their chicken were tasty and they side were delicious also. I've been to a different Pollo chicken restaurants a couple times and never go again because they weren't that good. I gave Mr Pollo a try because my friend had some great experience with some Pollo chicken restaurants and this had a great review. Definitely, looking forward to going back. I was happy we tried this spot and that it didn't end up being Mexican (which I also love btw), I've never tried Chilean food before and more people should know about Viva! There were more people at the Salvadorian spot next to it but it shared the same patio, I'd be curious to try the other spot when I come back to Pensacola. The chicken here is not only grilled deliciously, it also just tastes and looks like REAL chicken. Not those HUGE water-filled steroid chicken breasts.
