My friends and I came here when we were halfway done watching Harry Potter and the Cursed Child nearby, and overall I would say the food here wasn't bad, but wasn't great, either. There were some items that I thought were absolute highlights while others were mediocre. I will try to elaborate to the best of my abilities below.
The Dan Dan Noodles were excellent, having the right portions of every ingredient and allowing a very integrated experience eating a mixture of noodles meshed with everything else without broth. The chicken in chili sauce was pretty good as well. It was pretty easy to tell that it was made by just putting chicken in chili oil along with peanuts, etc., but the combination always works in providing the chicken with some flavor. The only thing was that the flavor didn't marinate into the chicken so I had to use the chili sauce with every bite.
The fried milk wasn't great at all, as the portions were small inside with too much breading, and the solid milk was oddly shaped for some reason. The taste was not too sweet, which was great, but was also not sweet enough in my opinion. The potstickers were dry inside out, so I kind of just ate them for the sake of finishing them.
I didn't have the other two bowls of noodles as my friends did. They both gave relatively positive comments about their dishes.
Another thing I wanted to mention was that my friend asked for the beef noodles without the egg, but our server asked him to leave the egg there and just take it out when it was served. I wasn't sure why they couldn't just make a bowl of noodles without the egg in them, and didn't want to assume negative intentions, but I felt that it was strange for her to respond that way. read more
