I was…read morecoming from out of town and they were able to have the store open early for my appointment. The service was beyond anything I expected, with a lot of options to choose from. Didn't feel pressured to go outside of my budget at all. Well the experience was so good I bought the suit I had designed and canceled the other appointments. A few weeks later everything was ready and they were able to hold my suit and shirt until I could come back and try it on. Well the suit and shirt fit perfect, with no additional alterations needed. Didn't notice any issues with stitching or loose threads and I have to say it's the best suit I've ever worn. Materials definitely live up to the price point. The additional details really made it a nice touch not just for me but my wife as well. If I ever need a suit I'll make the flight to come out here.

My husband wound up renting a wedgewood blue tux (it looked like a suit to me: no strip of satin down the pants legs, no satin lapels, no cummerbund) that he wore with a pale pink shirt and a navy tie. It looked amazing: fun for a Spring wedding. Chris took my husband's measurements at our first appointment, but when the tux arrived (2 weeks before the wedding), the arms were WAY too long. No problem! We just went back down to Nordstrom's, they altered, and Black Tux credited $15 towards the alteration cost. The arms were so off, I asked Nordstrom to write off the additional $15 since I am a very regular Nordstrom shopper, and they did. Love Nordstrom's! I would have preferred that the arms had been correct, since we'd measured before ordering, but Black Tux and Nordstrom's were great to work with on the alteration. Since my husband never needs a suit in his daily life, it was fun for him to rent a fun colored tux/suit. Return was so easy - back into the box it came in, pre-paid label already on it, under the original mailing label. Highly recommend if you want to try a fun tux or suit for an occasion. Caitlin Andrew was with me every appointment from the initial consultation/design phase to the fittings and alterations. We were visiting Park City…read moreand just happened to walk in never expecting such an amazing store and great customer service. We are from Austin, TX so there's no shortage of custom hat stores, but it was partly the experience that had us buying hats here. We worked with Hannah and all I can say is if you are working with her... you ARE going to buy a hat. She's very good at reading people and picking out what would go best for each individual down to the color and style of the hat. But mind you, this is not ordinary experience. It's extremely personalized to each individual; not just the fitting for proper size, color that works best but the shaping. I think I've spent less time buying a new car and that's not meant to be negative. Rather just to emphasize the personal attention you receive when you want to check out the hats. They have so many colors and style variations for you to look at, but regardless, if you already know how you want your hat to look, they can style it. When you pick out the color you want, you are going to be a basic hat with a flat brim and a round crown. So don't be shocked when they bring out the new, unshaped hat. Right in front of you, they will shape it to the exact style you want and it's really an impressive process to watch. One of the most impressive things was changing the size of the brim. We wanted the brim just a little smaller than the stock hat. They will measure it down to an 1/8th of an inch and after they cut it, you would never know the hat didn't come that way originally. Again, the transformation from the stock hat to the one you take with you is an amazing process to watch. And something I haven't ever seen before, they will actually "brand" your hat if you want. Think of branding like a cow get branded; they have these little branding irons and we chose to get our initials branded on the underside of the brim. A very nice personalization and a great way to make sure someone else doesn't accidentally pick up your hat! They have a wide array of hat bands anything from a very basic but nice hatband that comes with the purchase of the hat, to hand etched solid leather bands with silver buckles for the same price (and sometimes more) as the hat. But when you look at the history of the Burns Western apparel (since 1876), it's clear the quality of the material and craftsmanship. Don't be shocked by the price; again, this is a quality hat that is going to last a lifetime and people will recognize the quality. In the first day after getting the hat, we received so many comments from people passing wanting to know where we got the hat from. If you came to Park City and weren't prepared to carry something like this back on the plane... not to worry. When we finished our trip, we returned to the store and they will put the hat in a nice protective box and ship to your home address so there no worry about how you are going to carry this on a plane. We are already planning another trip in March to Park City and we won't leave before visiting Burns Cowboy Shop to pick up another hat! Everyone here is very nice and helpful, but ask for Hannah. She is so knowledgeable and fun to work with. But one warning... if Hannah helps you... you ARE going to buy a hat :) she doesn't pressure, but she knows the hats so well, you are going to feel like something is missing if you don't get one of these hats. We couldn't be happier and you don't have to live in Texas or Utah. You can wear this in New York, Chicago or Miami and people are going to recognize a quality of piece of headwear.

However, the shirt didn't fit well--the sleeves didn't come down far enough, though to be fair, the type of shirt didn't work for me anyway. When I returned the second shirt (still in its package, unopened), he brusquely showed me a sign that said returns must be made within 30 days. He did not tell me this up front. He showed very little courtesy. I was interested in buying a suit, but after this poor display of customer service, I will not be returning. This is the price one pays for not putting customers first.

I was in the market for a barber who is a perfectionist, passionate, and performs like he/she is painting a masterpiece. I couldn't be any more picky on barbers as I am very cautious on who works on my beard. After an extensive search with multiple barbers and Barber shops; I came across UWM and saw Jordans picture and his profile. I also searched up his reviews and took notice that there were a lot of outstanding reviews from everyone who was happy with his charismatic personality, good nature, warm hearted, and highly valued detailed perfection in his craft. Jordan did a super amazing job on my beard. I highly recommend Jordan for anyone who wants the job done right and having an outstanding experience which is equally important to me as the trim.
