That is why the engine sign was on. I explain everything to the owner of auto lab I show the paper which Honda diagnose the problem which was the fuel injector has to change, but the owner told me it's not fuel injector with confidence !!!I left my car so they can check. What's the problem actually they keep my car for five days not calling me back. I called them and they told me we have to fix the couple stuff the bill me for $4200. I didn't have any choice. I already miss days of work They kept my car one week finally they call me to pick up the car , after a month I got the same problem All the signs was on again. I took my car back to them they said it's electrical problem they charge me for $600 again they kept my a week, I pick up my car after a week. Start driving after three weeks all the sign turn on again. Took my car to them. he told me we will check again and let you know three days no calls no update. I called them. They told me you have to change the fuel injector and oxygen sensor. I told the owner when I bring my car first time I told you this is the problem now I end up with the same problem. So far I pay $5200 and they were asking me for 4000 dollar on top. to change the fuel injector I was about to cry. I took my car came home. I can't pay $9200 in three months I ask them to give me the invoice what parts you change they told me we will send it by email. so I can take my car to the mechanic and explain what part we change but I didn't receive any email from them. Finally the new mechanic told me your engine is done. You have to put a new engine because from the start you had problem with fuel injector, and the gasket leak. To your engine so we have to put a new engine because the diagnose wrong and took $5200 and ruin the engine in my car please please don't go to this place!! owner is the meanest person he is not listening to you what you're saying.

He specifically quoted that with cash, he would put the winter tires (on the rim) on for $60. When I got back, the quote was not honored. I was told for a german car it would be $80. Do you really want mento believe that the person who originally quoted $60, doesn't recognize a German car?? It didn't end there. The person who I dealt with probably needs some good brush ups and training on how to talk to a client. He was getting very difficult, and I asked why he was behaving like that. Guess what his answer was - in a generalized fashion he replied that their "clients" make their life difficult. Can you imagine the level of customer service? If your clients make your jib difficult then you shouldn't be here. Not honoring the quote and difficult behavior were not the end. When asked about the wheel lock, I mentioned that it is in the trunk under the tires. That guy would not do the work unless I, the client, take the tires out and hand him over the wheel lock. This kind of difficult and unprofessional response and behavior doesn't help! You should do better than this!

DO NOT GO HERE. Hopefully this review will help someone avoid similar issues I've faced. It's long…read morebut worth the read. On September 20th, I visited JC Lube for an oil change. Four days later, a dashboard warning appeared: "Charging malfunction: battery is not recharging. Stop carefully and consult nearest service centre." Concerned, I contacted a mobile mechanic on September 27th. He discovered the oil filter cover had not been secured properly, causing oil to leak all over the engine and damaging the serpentine belt, which needed replacement. I called JC Lube on September 28th, and Ruben, the manager, asked me to bring the car in. I paid for towing and brought the car in on September 30th. Ruben replaced the serpentine belt and attempted to clean the engine at no charge. However, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. On October 7th, the engine light came on. My regular mechanic found the engine was still covered in oil and noted that the alternator and serpentine belt tensioner were damaged due to the oil contamination. He recommended replacement of these parts and a professional cleaning. I returned to JC Lube on October 9th to address the issue. At the shop, I spoke to Jay, who claimed to be the supervisor but refused to escalate the matter, dismissing my concerns and telling me to contact Mobil head office, claiming JC Lube operated under Mobil. Later, Ruben clarified this was false, explaining that JC Lube is independently owned, and Mobil only supplies products. This misleading information added to my frustration. Ruben returned from vacation on October 24th, after I followed up multiple times, and agreed to inspect the vehicle on October 29th. I arrived at 8:50 AM and was told it would take a few hours. After hearing nothing by 1 PM, I went to the shop at 2 PM, and the car was suddenly "done." Ruben claimed he had cleaned the engine further but refused to replace the alternator and serpentine belt tensioner, insisting they were not completely broken. I explained that due to their negligence, these parts were compromised and likely to fail, which concerned me as I drive daily with my two small children. Ruben dismissed these concerns and refused to replace the parts, stating, "I won't fix what's not broken." Since then, I've had to return to my regular mechanic twice for further issues stemming from the initial mistake. JC Lube has not acknowledged any wrongdoing, often appeared annoyed with us for seeking resolution, and consistently failed to provide professional service or accountability. This experience has been a nightmare. Mistakes happen, but their refusal to take responsibility and their dismissive attitude make it clear they do not value their customers. I would not recommend JC Lube to anyone. Beware.

When I asked them about it, they refused to take responsibility and provided false information. Because of this, I contacted your head office to file a complaint. After contacting the head office, I was told to "come tomorrow." This delay and repeated instruction caused me a great deal of stress and worry, as my car was leaking oil, and I spent nearly five hours waiting without any proper help or explanation. In the end, your staff replaced the part with a new one, but at the same time, they told me that they would no longer service my vehicle in the future. This behavior -- damaging an essential part, denying responsibility, giving false information, keeping me waiting for hours, and then refusing future service -- is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. And one of your staff members told me to leave, which I really didn't expect. also, you didn't give me nothing like warranty info installation for Newport now I don't have nothing some of document Therefore, I kindly request that you ensure your staff treat customers honestly, professionally, and respectfully in the future.

They called me back 30 minutes later and said that the cost would actually be closer to $6000 or a new engine at $7300. Spoke to a different mechanic at another shop from the recommendation of a friend and they said they are over charging. I eventually had my car towed to this mechanic as Midas said I should not drive. This new mechanic had my car for 5 days and came back that he could not find anything wrong with it. My car was starting with no issues. Anything Midas told me was happening was not. I picked up my car on January 8th and have been driving it ever since with no issues. I called customer relations to file a complaint. The only person who has called me was Dave, the shop manager. Who basically said they stand by their diagnosis and that it is what it is. I called back Customer Relations, and they said that since every shop is a franchise, there isn't much they could do. I paid $250 for a misdiagnosis, with no resolution. Imagine if I had paid for them to "repair" my car or decided to purchase a new one based on their recommendation

Murray was extremely rude and disrespectful and lacks basic customer service. As a young African…read moreCanadian female I feel that I was treated poorly by this establishment which happened to be owned by an older white gentlemen who thought he could speak/treat me any way he felt like. I will not be returning to this place as long as I shall need a vehicle service and I recommend that you do not either. I went to this establishment about a year ago for the emission and safety check. In expecting to be in and out for about $120,it turned out that I would actually need to make a few repairs, change tires etc. which put me at about $1800. I was disappointed as I had just got the used vehicle and all the issues had been more than I bargained for. However, Garry was very kind and honest in his assessment. All of that changed when I went back a year later and interacted with what I believed to be his father Murray who also works there. Earlier in that day I needed to get another inspection from active green and ross so that I could transfer my ownership for my insurance. Unfortunately my regular mechanic was away on vacation so I went there for convenience, after the inspection they told me that I would need 1,934.22 in modifications to pass a car that I have had absolutely zero faults with. Because I knew my regular mechanic would not quote anything so outrageous I had to pay $140 for nothing but wasted time. Afterwards I immediately called back my insurance advisor and let her know what had happened and that I would not have 2 grand to spend unnecessarily on a car that functions perfectly as I had just done a safety one year prior! She then let me know that if I could prove that I had gotten it just a shy of a year ago (less than three years ago to be exact) she would allow the insurance policy to continue at my current rate. With that information I returned to Clark's Auto Service to get a copy of the proof of inspection. Murry was far from pleasant and at first tried to tell me that I had never gotten the safety done there. Because if I go somewhere and spent over 1500 dollars I would remember I urged him to check his records and look again. He then found the proof in his a receipt-like book. At that point when he noticed that I was not charged for the safety itself (which I am told if about $10 -reference Active Green and Ross for that price) he started to get short with me as if it was my fault that I didn't pay. I then reminded him of the other 1800 dollars I had spent as his establishment for the other repairs I had done and he proceeded to make a comment about how it was probably because I couldn't afford what he was originally charging. At this point Murray became rude and disrespectful, not letting me finish any sentence, talking over me, and disregarding what I was saying. I continued to ask him for a copy of the proof that I had gotten the inspection done for my insurance. He said he could not that because I couldn't remove government property. [I called the ministry of transportation and they advised me that as long as the paper in question is pertaining to MY vehicle which is in MY name then there is no law and or rule stating that I can't get proof of it.] Any way he gave me a print out of the invoice that stated I had gotten a safety but not if I passed or failed on a piece of paper that I could have printed at home. I knew it would not be acceptable with my insurance company and I let him know that. At that point I also suggested that if he could not do that than a photo that I could send her instead would suffice. But he kept saying that he doesn't know where it would be going. When he made that remark I felt as though maybe he thought I would be doing something fraudulent with the paper, so I asked him if that was true. He continued to interrupt and talk over me and ignore the question. At that point I had made many references to how he was being rude and disrespectful and his lack of kindness was duly noted. Out of frustration of having to pay $140 earlier for nothing and the way he was treating me as a customer I let him know how he was behaving as if it was not apparent. AT NO POINT DID I RECIPROCATE HIS RUDE OR DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR.I NEVER RAISED MY VOICE OR SPOKE ILL TOWARDS HIM. WHEN HE WOULD INTERUPT ME I WOULD WAIT FOR HIM TO FINIFHS AND TRY AGAIN. He told me to leave and when I asked him why, when I had gotten services done AND SPENT GOOD HARD EARNED MONEY there and I was looking for his support with some evidence my insurance wanted HE CALLED THE POLICE. Shocked and frustrated I waited there for them to arrive because I was ABSOLUTLEY certain I had done nothing wrong.I also wasn't sure if leaving would make me appear guilty. At this point I was angry and crying because I couldn't believe he would behave in such a despicable way and then call the police on ME. The one who was even keeled during the whole interaction. I wasn't in any trouble but WOW never again and I will tell EVER1
