He had everything pre-installed / mounted before I arrived. The install took less than 20 minutes. The tire/wheel package includes one season of winter tire storage, which normally costs $75/season or $150/year. That price in itself is the best I have seen in GTA, and the fact that he got that thrown in as part of the tire/wheel package is just great. Highly recommend Charlie and Tire Tactics. He pointed me in the right direction, and saved us $400, that we would have paid at the dealership. Excellent customer service, I'll definitely be returning if we need a mechanic to look at our car.

1 Star - My Worst Experience With Any Auto Repair Shop Three…read moremajor issues led me to lose all confidence in this Master Mechanic location: 1. Poor workmanship on my 2015 Infiniti QX60 resulting in repeat repairs, failed suspension components, alignment problems, damaged tires and thousands of dollars in additional repair costs. 2. My father-in-law's 2010 Buick was incorrectly diagnosed as needing a $4,000-5,000 head gasket repair or an $8,000 replacement engine, only for the manager to later admit the leak was actually caused during servicing. 3. I was almost billed for a second complete rear brake job less than a year after Master Mechanic had already performed the same repair. I only avoided paying because I reviewed my own invoices at the counter. After these three experiences, I cannot recommend this shop to anyone. For my Infiniti, I brought the vehicle in for a loud whirring noise and an alignment. I authorized a serpentine belt replacement and paid for a four-wheel alignment. The day after picking it up, I discovered a significant oil leak that had not existed beforehand. Master Mechanic later repaired a leaking cooler line and provided a "goodwill discount." Because I had already begun losing confidence in the shop, I sought a second opinion. Another garage found the recently repaired cooler line clamp was faulty, the engine was approximately four litres low on oil, the alignment was still significantly out, and the front control arms previously installed by Master Mechanic had failed and required replacement. They also advised my front summer tires, which Master Mechanic had sold me and had just reinstalled, had severe inner-edge wear that was never mentioned during the alignment. The additional repair costs totalled well over $2,000. The second incident involved my father-in-law's 2010 Buick. After routine servicing, I was told the vehicle likely required a $4,000-5,000 head gasket repair or an $8,000 replacement engine. I requested photos and videos before making any decision, but none were ever provided. Later that same day, the manager admitted the diagnosis was incorrect and told me the leak had actually been caused when a mechanic damaged a transmission fluid line during servicing. I was left wondering how such an expensive engine diagnosis could have been communicated before the actual cause had been confirmed. Finally, in 2025 I was advised my Infiniti required another complete rear brake job, despite Master Mechanic having completed the same repair less than a year earlier. When I produced my previous invoice, the recommendation was immediately withdrawn and a $760 warranty adjustment was applied. Had I not reviewed my own records, I believe I would have paid for work that should have been covered. Everyone makes mistakes, but in my experience these were not isolated incidents. Across two vehicles I experienced questionable diagnostics, poor workmanship, repeat repairs, warranty issues and multiple "goodwill discounts" after problems occurred. My advice to prospective customers is simple: keep every invoice, question major repair recommendations, request removed parts back, and always obtain a second opinion before authorizing expensive work. I have completely lost confidence in this business and will never return. *Gross incompetence & suspect business practices experienced by me. *Consumers be aware. *I wish I could give less than a one-star rating.

This is an update on my Dec. 23rd review…read more.. When I had the new tires fitted back in December, I elected not to have the TPMS valves (which had rotted out) replace, because of the cost. It turned out that this was a dumb decision on my part, as some of the Honda Ridgeline vehicle stability control features don't work when the TPMS valves are missing. In a winter like the one we're having this year, I decided that i really should have the valves put in. I bought replacements at a Honda dealership - assured that they would fit my 2006 Honda Ridgeline - but when I asked Braidan to fit them, it turned out they were not the right ones. The dealership refused to take them back...my mistake, not theirs! That's when Jim at Braidan Tire stepped up... He took the 'wrong' valves back and managed to exchange them for some OEM ones that would fit a set of aftermarket rims I decided to replace my rusting steel wheels with. It took Jim a few shots at getting the right valves, but he tenaciously stuck with it and as of yesterday, I have a working TPMS system, a very reasonably priced set of rims, 4 outstanding Goodyear Wrangler w/Kevlar tires, that have tackled this year's snow and ice superbly, and a Honda's amazing VSC system working perfectly again. Thanks Jim, thanks Nadia (for getting the tires at short notice just before Christmas) and thanks to Team Braidan Tire for its commitment to outstanding customer service. Guess where I'll be buying tires from from now on?!

There was a couple of times I brought my car in thinking it had an issue, and he explained to me that there was no problem, and I wasn't charged anything for the inspection. WONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE…read more Went to purchase tires, asked if install is possible if i buy the tires, was told by Mike (owner) yes they can accomodate the installation today ONLY, within the purchase price, so bought the tires and after installation, Mike came asking to move the car out fast, i saw there was no air in one of my tires mounted on the car, tire was flat, i told Mike there itself to have tire filled with air, he became aggresive, raised his voice and said "for fuck's sake" sir i need you to move the car right now and yelled for his technician to fill up air in the tire and walked away, very unprofessional, all this needs to be checked before a customer is called and informed the car is ready, the technician was still in process of filling air im the tire, looks to be poor communication between Mike and his techician working on the car, Some customer care training is needed for the owner, clearly he doesnt know how to interact with customers He wanted me to drive my car, with flat tire and damage my rime and tire There is no proper waiting place for customers, 2 large dogs were sleeping on the sofa where customers are standing & waiting, no place to park cars to wait for your turn.
