Repeatedly I've tried to give Jeff business, everytime he quotes higher than what the dealer…read moreactually charges me. key broke off my honda fob, fob still working Jeff $95 [edit thanks Jeff for that pointing out] Honda dealer - new key (and fob housing) cut $40 [In case it's not clear enough, Jeff charges MORE than double what the dealer charges for this] lost a set of 3 different pre 2002 vehicle ford keys Jeff after arguing that he doesn't play "that game" of giving quotes - $575 except none of them have chips, even though Jeff seems to think [or want to convince you] otherwise guess what buddy, for $600 i can just buy a whole other (yes working vehicle), lucky I found the backups of 2, my guys in the city can get me the other cut for less than $40 or I can just order online for $65/75 [hmm $65 per key/vehicle online or $190 with Jeff] lost scion key Charles Toyota dealer - 3 new replacement keys and cut for ... wait for it ... $16.59 what Jeff would have graciously offered, I don't even want to imagine... [hey Jeff you want to give a quote on that since you want to be so slick, 2012 scion IQ and lets see if you can even figure out whether it has a chip or not] whose wasting whose time? edit [funny Jeff owns up to the first detail but not the $575 quote which was literally like pulling teeth to get him to give a rough number. As I said to him, "I don't know how you run a business but when I do a business and someone asks for a quote, guess what, I can at least give them an idea." I do indeed wish it was fiction, unfortunately no one can change the past and although Jeff may pretend it didn't happen, I definitely won't forget it. A perfect experience all the way around. Initial call for service was responded to within four…read morehours. Locksmith was courteous, and asked plenty of qualifying questions to make sure he was prepared for the call when he arrived. He arrived exactly on schedule, and while dressed casually he also had a professional appearance with a logo t-shirt identifying his brand. The original thought was to replace one lock. Instead, after taking it apart, lubricating and servicing it and reassembling it the right way (he found the original installer put the lock in upside down), the lock worked perfectly. He then inquired about and serviced the same style lock on our rear door (also installed upside down) for the same service call fee. He was willing to replace the lock but indicated we could save $30 in parts and just use the ones he had just repaired. The bill was clearly written up and thecall completed in about 30 minutes time. Quick, courteous, professional service, and he saved us the cost of our Angie's List subscription and then some! Would absolutely recommend AJ's Lock to anyone who has any type of locksmith need!

The man on the phone asked for $125 redemption fee in CASH. I called the bank and URA Natiowide and there was no $125 redemption fee! Make sure whatever fee is actually true! I'm a struggling single mother who works hard and it was difficult for me to recover my car. Shame on this business for trying to charge me a fee that did not exist in cash! Extremely disappointed. *I'm not even upset that they repossesed my car. That's their business and it's my responsibility to pay my car on time but the fact that the man tried to charge me CASH for a fee that didn't not exist in UNETHICAL and CRUEL. People struggle so don't try to trick people into fees that DO NOT EXIST. I hope my car is not tampered with because I made complaints with the bank and URA Nationwide

I came home late on a Friday afternoon to find the keyless lock on my front door wouldn't accept…read morethe code and I didn't have the override key with me. I called Eastern Lock Service. They asked the questions to gain an understanding of what was needed so I knew the cost upfront. They also set expectations so I was aware that they might need to destroy the lock in order to open the door. Within 5 minutes, they were on their way to my house. I understand the response time was just good timing because they were in between jobs, but I would recommend Eastern Lock Service and have added them to my contacts for future use and recommendations to friends.
