Bought this white American cheese from Kroger in Batesville and when we got home, found foreign…read morematter on most of the slices. Drove 15 miles back to return the cheese and the woman in customer service looked at it and said "they must not have cleaned the machine" and processed our refund. We then asked what the price was on firewood and the woman in customer service said she didn't know, that they change the price every time it's delivered and to ask someone else. I found someone else, asked the same question and was told to ask the woman in customer service. When I mentioned we had and were told to ask someone else, she talked to a bagger and came back to tell us he would help. That was the last we heard from anyone. We waited a bit, then gave up and went down the street to Piggly Wiggly, where we'll be doing our shopping for the duration. There seems to be a push to have a "midday huddle" at this store, but it's obvious they don't discuss customer service or food safety.
