Jay from Norman's Home Improvements made the decision easier for us, as he was thoughtful and willing to discuss our possible plumbing issues right away, before even booking an appointment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Norman's to anyone who was looking for assistance. Our experience was a good one, and our issue was resolved with one visit. The total cost was especially reasonable, and we feel we learned a lot in the process - it is always a great thing when someone is willing to explain things to you and answer questions, versus just completing the job. I reached out to numerous plumbers and companies, but Jay's response stood out right away. While most people were happy to give me a (fairly high) ballpark quote which left me wondering if I would be taken advantage of for my lack of plumbing knowledge, Jay was happy to discuss the possibilities of why our kitchen sink had stopped working for no apparent reason ahead of time, before even booking an appointment. He was able to come take a look at our sink just a couple of days later, on a Friday evening. He spent some time discussing the plumbing of our house with us in general, which was extremely helpful as we only moved a few weeks ago. He was happy to answer questions and make sure we understood things, which we really appreciated. He was professional and explained the cost ahead of time after diagnosing the issue and prior to completing additional work beyond the base service fee for the visit. Norman's Home Improvements was a good first experience for us, and I would gladly hire them in the future for additional work. In addition to plumbing, they also do work on electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. We would highly recommend Norman's and we especially appreciated the willingness to not only perform the work but explain the process to us as well.

Phew! Drywalling is quite the ordeal! We just had a big two-week project completed, and it was a…read moresolid overall experience with The Patch Boys. Michael was extremely attentive, quick to take the project on, paid very close attention to detail, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The overall professionalism and communication from him, and the team members he brought on, was very appreciated. We were kind of in a rush to get our basement renovations rolling, so as soon as we finished the framing and insulating ourselves, we inquired with Patch Boys to come in for a full drywall install and finish. Within a day or two Michael came by to assess the entire layout, inquire about details, and discuss what the process would look like. We heard back from him a few days later with a very well laid-out quote that included descriptions of each step/phase. He answered my additional questions and we were happy with the pricing, so as soon as we paid the deposit they set up a date to begin. From start to finish it was just about two weeks for the ~1500 sq/ft project. The team was very thoughtful about any mess coming in and out of our home, always sure to properly cover and prepare everything. This job is quite the mess, especially when it came to the heavy amount of sanding required for the smooth texture towards the end. It was great to see their care in the clean up. (Note however, that this dust really travels around so you'll likely have to do some additional cleaning of your own in other areas of the home, as we did). Even when it came to the end of the project, there were minor tweaks and changes that Michael thought were needed to really perfect everything, and we definitely appreciated that attention to detail & willingness to correct what was needed. A great experience overall. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again, or recommend them to others!

Was called right away and Danny had Chance come out to talk with us and take measurements. Chance was fabulous to work with, he explained everything to us, took measurements and stated that Danny would be emailing us a quote. We did accept their quote which I though was reasonable. They were out in 1 day to do the job. Chance showed up that morning to start the prep work and had Jose do the Knockdown Texture. Jose was very personable, efficient and clean. Jose was done in several hours. The walls turned out GREAT! Danny's Drywall is highly recommended, he will not Disappoint!!

I…read morerequested a quote from Danny back in February and even after seeing the reasonable quote, many beautifully finished jobs & high ratings on his Facebook page, I thought I could get a better deal from another highly motivated contractor who basically promised the world. Never mind the gut feeling that I should've gone with Danny but lessons are learned the hard way sometimes... Fast forward months later, far too much frustration & regret, still waiting for a botched job to be complete & the original contractor no longer showing up to finish the job, I contacted Danny again asking him for another quote to finish the work and hoping he wouldn't be insulted that I didn't go with him originally. Needless to say, he was incredibly cool about it and was able to stop by within a couple of days to see what his guys were working with. Not only is the bigger job now complete within a couple of weeks of me contacting Danny, but also a few other smaller areas that had been an eye sore for too many years. Danny always responds quickly, communicated frequently throughout the process, checks in on his team and answered all of the many, many questions I've had along the way. I tend to notice every imperfection and have yet to find any with the work done by his team. His team is efficient, skilled, friendly and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Also, it's awesome to have contractors show up on time when they say they will to do the job (not always my experience)! I highly recommend Danny's for any size drywall job you need done. He is professional, reliable and goes above and beyond. I'm incredibly thankful to Danny & his team for the quick turnaround and beautiful job done in my home. The customer service and quality of work from Danny & team are everything you hope for from a contractor and is quite a relief after too many less than ideal contractor experiences over the years. There is no doubt I'll be using Danny again for future jobs!
