Just horrible, THEY gave us the wrong width of tier without our knowledge and it cause our tire to gash. We realized why our tire was flat not even two days and called Mr. D .They said they weren't reliable and when we try to take the tire off they over torqued the lug nuts. This isn't the first time this happened. It will be the last. I will no longer go there. read more

Mr D's Tire Shop - Tires Near Me - Midlothian, Texas

Turned us away at 4:30 pm when their hours show open until 5:00 pm. I guess they don't want to make any money. Forced to leave one star to post this review. read more

5 Stars This Mom & Pop shop in Midlothian is absolutely top-notch! The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in their work. Management is solid, and the prices are unbeatable. They went above and beyond by sourcing tires and wipers that weren't even in stock--had them delivered in under 30 minutes and finished the job in about 10 more. That level of service is rare these days. I highly recommend this place if you want quality service without the chaos and price gouging you'll find at Walmart or Discount Tire. Support local--you won't regret it! read more

Mr D's Tire Shop - 4 new tires and 2 wipers for $440.00! Now that's a good deal. - Tires Near Me - Midlothian, Texas

I went in for a alignment and was told they could do it but wouldn't give a warranty because I needed a lot of suspension work. They gave me a list of what needed to be replaced and I got it all done. I went back today after getting all the suspension work done and buying new tires. They did the alignment and told me after that they could not warranty it because the check engine and ABS lights were on but they knew from my last visit that these lights were on. They acknowledged that but still refused to give a warranty. I have been coming to them for years so this is very disappointing. read more

BEWARE. Went in for a low tire they broke my valve stem and wheel sensor that's gonna cost me $68. Very rude people. Would not recommend this place to no one. read more

Worthy of a review!! When you deal with many places you come to realize just how important some of the extra attention is done. Patience is important, but my tires arrive quickly. The lady at the desk is extremely nice and I have nothing but positive things to say. They worked on my Tesla Performance Model 3, we got all the tires figured out and saved enough to do it twice. The car is in great condition, I appreciate everything you've done. Thank you!! read more

I called the shop before heading up there to get a price on balancing my tires. The lady at the front desk who answered told me it would be 20 dollars per tire after she got the sizes of my tires. I had the wheels and tires in the back of my truck and the plan was to put them on my wife's Tahoe. Once they balanced the tires and put them on the Tahoe I went inside to pay and she charged me $115.00. I told her she said it would be $80.00 so I am not sure why she charged me $115.00. She proceeded to say it was because they rotated my tires. Any time they balance tires they have to take off the tires so thats very disappointing. I also unloaded the wheels/tires for the guys and loaded the originals back on my truck. She obviously understand that you need to take the tire off to balance it or she just wanted to charge me more. Unfortunately that was my first and last experience with Mr. Ds! read more

The staff was super helpful in installing my new tires and were finished in less than 15 minutes. Christopher was friendly and made sure I was satisfied with their services. I would definitely come back here especially after learning they do all sorts of car maintenance. If you're looking for a one stop shop I'd recommend them! read more

Useless. The first time I went, I stood there forever then had to go find someone to come help me. The second time, I wanted a tire checked that had a slow leak and they refused. They put air in it, which I can do myself. I know how to check the pressure and add air...I also know that when a tire is losing air, it needs to be checked. They would not help me. Horrible. read more

Fast and easy and reasonable.. Hardest and longest part was trying to find my locking lug nut key. Lol.

Patched my tire within minutes and was very honest. Highly recommend this place for anyone with tire problems!

I needed two decent used tires for my vehicle - They had what I needed at the time, quality was good and tire price was fair. However, I also needed to have the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system)sensor replaced on one wheel and then the system needed to be reset. They replaced the sensor @ $65, but the tire guy did not know how to reset the TPMS. I ended up having to go to Discount Tire a few days later to get this done. The sensor that was replaced was not programmed and a new sensor was needed. I took the sensor back to Mr. D and requested a refund - they refused as I didn't have the valve stem, just the defective sensor. Mr. D had the valve stem and original bad sensor they replaced (evidently discarded - I did not know I'd need it) and Discount Tire only replaced the sensor, not the valve stem, so I did not have a valve stem with the sensor so I'm out the $65. If you have a TPMS issue - take your vehicle to someone who can completely resolve the problem, from troubleshooting to programming. Be advised! read more
