What sets it apart from any major chain store nearby is the friendly service from staff. If you're a petrol head who knows what he's doing - they can talk your language. But I'd you're a car dunce (as I am) then Shane, Kevin and the team don't think twice about offering you guidance and helping you fit standard parts such as windscreen wipers and hub caps. Great service! There is free parking outside the store and plenty of free Street parking around the Square too.

The staff all know their stuff and the small store is crammed with stock. If they don't have what you need they will do their best to get it for you as soon as possible. Definitely give them a try before you head to somewhere like Halfords, the prices are competitive and more importantly the staff are friendly and helpful, a rare thing in a car parts shop!

Rather than getting ripped off at bigger stores for the same brand item, I have spent a fraction of the price here. The owner is great at advising you on what to use for whatever problem you have with your car, which saved the hassle and cost of going to a mechanic. The shop may look a little shabby but I definitely recommend it for any parts you need for your motor.

The service was questionable at all three with them blaming the metals inside the cat for the expense and being unsure which cat system was needed for my car. I went to max performance and they not only did they know what they where talking about but the they only charged £190. These guys are totally professional and honest ( yes an honest garage) and they will only a charge you a fair price for work that actually needs doing. Top job very happy. Could not recommend enough.

Everything is reasonably priced and John and his team really seem to know their stuff, so even if you don't have a clue about cars, you're bound to wind up finding exactly what you need. Ample off-road parking is available right outside the store and several bus stops are within walking distance, so you'll have no trouble getting there either. The staff are great, the atmosphere inside is pleasant and John's stock is exceptional. If ever you're suffering from car troubles, you really can't go far wrong here.

They stock a surprisingly good range (for a small shop) of car parts and accessories, and are just down the road from a large Ford dealership, so if you're pulling away in a new Focus or Fiesta and suddenly have an insatiable urge to buy an air freshener, then it's very convenient! They do all the regular parts that you'd expect, wiper blades, batteries, wing mirrors etc., and if you need a part they don't have, they're more than happy to order it in for you. I'm always slightly apprehensive when going into small independent shops such as this as I always worry that all their products will be brands that I've never heard, but Shirley Auto Spares carries a bunch of big name brands, such as Bosch and NGK, so you know that their products will be of a good quality, and the staff seem to love what they do, and are always extremely helpful.

A while ago we were out on the Pershore road and of his tyres blew, well we thought it had and we called his breakdown rescue people because we had no idea what to do - embarrassing I know! Anyway when they turned up it turned out the little valve on the tyres, where you adjust the tyre pressure had broken and therefore the air had come out. It was all very fiddly and although we fitted the spare tyre he said that we could fix the tyre by getting a new valve so we decided to pop into Volks Bits as it was nearby. We told the guy inside what we needed and luckily he was able to help. It was not too costy and we left happy! I would recommend this place for those with VW cars!

I came in here a while ago for a very embarrassing reason. I had left my petrol cap on the roof of…read moremy car because of a confusing incident at a petrol station and as a result of this I had driven off and the petrol cap had obviously left the roof of car and been plunged into the unknown. Anyway a few days later I realised there was a stench of petrol and I then discovered the cap was missing. In a state of confusion I decided to drop by this place to see if they could help. To my delight they did have some petrol caps for reasonable prices, however, not one which was suitable for my car. They did however recommend some other places to me and they guys were really friendly. We laughed about my situation and they said it happens to people all the time - I felt much better after hearing this. So I would recommend this place for car bits and bobs.
