What sets it apart from any major chain store nearby is the friendly service from staff. If you're a petrol head who knows what he's doing - they can talk your language. But I'd you're a car dunce (as I am) then Shane, Kevin and the team don't think twice about offering you guidance and helping you fit standard parts such as windscreen wipers and hub caps. Rather than getting ripped off at bigger stores for the same brand item, I have spent a fraction of the price here. The owner is great at advising you on what to use for whatever problem you have with your car, which saved the hassle and cost of going to a mechanic. The shop may look a little shabby but I definitely recommend it for any parts you need for your motor.

They do all the regular parts that you'd expect, wiper blades, batteries, wing mirrors etc., and if you need a part they don't have, they're more than happy to order it in for you. I'm always slightly apprehensive when going into small independent shops such as this as I always worry that all their products will be brands that I've never heard, but Shirley Auto Spares carries a bunch of big name brands, such as Bosch and NGK, so you know that their products will be of a good quality, and the staff seem to love what they do, and are always extremely helpful.
