Fast service and good food!…read more Great customer service ....only reason for 4 stars was some items on the menu were unavailable!

Lots to say, but in short, try a different ramen restaurant. I sampled a ton thanks to their meal…read moreset and was VERY underwhelmed. The miso ramen is boring. The broth is thick hot water with almost literally no flavor, and there's definitely no harmony. It's like the broth was made using boxed stock/broth. They say there's a 12 hour in house broth cooked daily but it isn't working well. You know how many ramens and stews taste better as the flavors settle and sink in? That doesn't happen here. The chicken karage is solid but heavy on the breading. You get more crispy skin than chicken which isn't ideal if you're hungry. Or, you know, paying for chicken. The vegetarian gyoza are fine but nothing special. The bottoms look charred but taste soft, almost like the color was painted on - I know it's not, but it still looks that way. Then there's the vegetarian ramen... It's bad. It's bad enough that I can call it the worst vegetarian ramen I've tried. Truly no flavor and it's so unremarkable that I'm struggling to describe it. It's corn, chives, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and noodles floating in hot water. You will absolutely need to add salt and spice. You'll also notice that what you receive in both size and color doesn't match the menu photos. Look at the Monthly Combo in my menu photo. Best example is that the salad I was served was 1/4 the size and also missing tomato and cucumber as shown in the photo. Save your money, skip this spot.

The table service was good too, they brought the food right to our table once it was cooked. The Baba Ganesh was very sweet, maybe a bit too sweet, but I dipped my spinach and cheese pie in it and then it was such a delicious blend of creamy! Cheesy and creamy goes well together. Overall the food was great! And the large quantity of it is worth the amount it cost, plus it's fantastic.

The restaurant itself is not very bright inside, there's a few tables inside but it was full at lunch time. Take out works as the food holds up well to travel. The service is super friendly and warm. I ordered the beef shawarma platter with tabouli salad and hummus and pita for about $10 after tax. It's a massive lunch but I managed to finish the entire plate in 20 minute intervals. The meat was a bit dried out, guess it was roasting a little too long. And I didn't find the meat to be as flavourful as I had hoped. But it was still good. I LOVED the tabouli - I'd say the best one I've ever had. It is packed with flavours and the citrus helps cut out the heaviness of the meat and hummus. I'd go back and just order a plate of the tabouli. The hummus was garlicky and pureed very smoothly. I got two big pieces of pita bread to enjoy all that hummus. The kebab platter came with 6 kebabs, rice, tabouli, hummus and 2 pieces of pita bread. The rice is deliciously flavoured and the kebabs were a tad dry but had great flavour to it. I would've liked some hot sauce to go with it, it was take out so I added some sriracha from home which made it even more delicious! I like their falafels as well as it was a very generous sized ball (a little smaller than a baseball). Very light inside. The spinach pie is a pretty big enclosed pita with spinach and cheese inside for $3. Delicious and not greasy at all. The only con if you're not dining in, is finding parking on Ellice Ave during lunch time. Otherwise, great place for a very satisfying meal.

SO I was visiting from Toronto and decided to go for some Pakistani food. I called up these guys…read moresince they are halal. They have another Rasoi kitchen located on 596 Ellice Avenue, which is take out but these guys had sit down seating. I would like to give my opinion before my explanation, which is ... DO NOT I repeat DON NOT EVER GO HERE! PLEASSSSEEEEE So first red flag, we walk in and for a saturday night it was empty! ok 2 randomly weird guys were sitting but i mean the rest of the 10 tables were empty. I was like omg should I leave, but we stayed out of courtesy. Second red flag, for a 'halal' place they had a full bar, hmmmmm but ok. Third red flag, no body really cared we had reservation and were waiting to place our order...yup I was silly for not walking out ok lets get to the food ... We ordered Lamb Biryani, tandoori chicken and lamb curry. I don't know who the cook is but the biryani tasted totally different! I don't know what ethnic rice they served me but it was not biryani. The lamb curry was covered with thick tomato paste..grossss!!! i know how to cook curry and yea we use tomato for the sauce but this is not how it's made, trust me! Now for the best and most disgusting plate of the night - tandoori chicken...OMG the chicken was grey from inside! it was old and had been reheated for us..why?????? on top of that it had gross spices...and this SAD AND GROSSSSS MEAL COST US $50.00!!!!!! whyyyyyyyy??? I don't want to give it ANY star in fact I want to give it MINUS 10 but yelp doesn't have that option ... yet!
