Out of five, two waited a week before sending me a follow up. One was rather high also. And two were very reasonable. Linda at this location not only send me a quote but followed up with a call to ask me a few questions. Those questions lead to a discount. After a couple more calls back and forward, my final cost was less than half the price of my current insurance. I gave them my credit card to cover my auto and home insurance. There's a piece of mind in having a local agent handling all my home, auto, and motorcycle policies that I can't get simply buying a policy from the cheapest site online. The best part has to be the email correspondence. When I was considering a new motorcycle, all I needed to do was send Jeff an email with the VIN and desired coverages and in no time I had a PDF attachment in email with costs all broken down. And, when I screwed up and told Jeff the wrong VIN on the one I bought, he's cool as a cucumber and just made the change to my policy. The second-best part is the online portal. Sure, most major carriers have this today, but being able to pull all my info and check status of my policies and renewal and discounts and such myself is hugely beneficial. I don't want to call or email bothering Jeff with something like a Declarations page, and having that information available within a few clicks (and on my phone no less), is fantastic. Now, I've not had to file a claim yet, and I hope I never do, but I have every reason to believe that Jeff will be there to help me through that process if every the need arises. Bottom line, I feel like I'm in good hands with Jeff Dietz at Allstate.
