Out of five, two waited a week before sending me a follow up. One was rather high also. And two were very reasonable. Linda at this location not only send me a quote but followed up with a call to ask me a few questions. Those questions lead to a discount. After a couple more calls back and forward, my final cost was less than half the price of my current insurance. I gave them my credit card to cover my auto and home insurance. I let this serious error slide because Carol was recommended by good friends. We managed to correct the issue, and a couple of years passed without major incidents. Ten days ago, I reached out to the owner of the agency, Jason Hughes, requesting an audit of our property. We live next to a wooded area, have a new roof, and have made several other changes that should affect our coverage. Jason promised to get back to me the following day, but I am still waiting for a response. This situation has left me concerned about the reliability of Hughes Insurance Group. I can't fathom having them advocate on my behalf in a real time of need. Trusting them to handle a claim or provide assistance seems risky based on my experiences.
