The waiting room is sorely needing some "clean and bright" detail, but that only tells me that they are busy and if they are busy, they must be doing a hell of a job. I will take it. Came in and it was discovered that their scanning tool could not connect to my vehicle which is a 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The tool was needed in case break error codes needed to be cleared. Left disappointed and began calling around for plan B. To my surprise Harry called and said after doing some research they feel that the tool will not be necessary for my brake job. So came back in and everything went smoothly. Breaks are done and was able to save a lot of money. Very honest company who isn't attempting to take advantage of people in anyway. I hate dealing with car troubles and I always get nervous as a girl walking into an auto shop or dealership but Mark made sure my experience at Mr. Brake was excellent. I went Saturday to change my break pads and rotors since they told me at another shop that they needed to be changed. I know nothing about cars and I feel they take advantage of me at most places when I take my car for service. Saturday evening I went and when I told them about the job that needed to be done, they immediately tell me the rotors won't need a change since it's a 2023 car, then they took it for inspection and they told me they still have about 15,000 left and no work needed to be done and didn't charge me anything. I love that this shop is family owned and operated for almost 50 years!! Mark runs a solid shop and the prices are reasonable. You can tell his entire staff of mechanics love what they do and are really knowledgeable. Mark estimated that the project would take about an hour and a half. So I waited in the lobby.
