We ordered a few tapas to share: croquets de alheira and croquets de codfish. Both were so good! We loved it. The star of the show though was the pork neck tacos! They were so delicious! So much flavor and perfect. I got the lemonade and it was just okay. Nothing special. Overall, would 100% recommend this place! Make a reservation if you can but if you can't, would still try to stop by!

Definitely recommend making a reservation, I found it impressive that the hostess's reservation system was essentially a notebook and pen in this digital age. We did not see much of our waiter, since the restaurant was extremely busy and filled up with diners. Standouts: 1. Razor clams - I'll always get these if I see it on the menu. Cooked in this incredible garlic sauce. 2. Fish and seafood cataplana - delicious, tomato-forward seafood stew; I liked the version that we had the night before more which came with rice and was more filling. But this was basically a never-ending bowl of fish, clams, mussels, and shrimp. Add to that the fact that the restaurant like most in Porto did not have A/C and I emerged feeling like I had been sitting in a sauna. Skipped dessert; I had my eye on the Weeel! froyo truck parked outside. One more nit - the metal chairs are not comfortable at all for sitting a long time in.

Went for a walk along the avenue a nice brisk stroll along the water front. Returned at the designated time and were seated. The dinning room is split into 3 areas a main room another that steps down and one with a small staircase that ends in a small dinning space. Our table was perfect for two. The menu is as authentic as you can find being in a Izakaya or Sushi bar in Japan. So many items to choose from that all described fantastically taking you through a culinary journey. I spotted the Toro tuna belly, I went for the sashimi. Added the shrimp salad with fresh seaweed. Also ordered the karaage and gyoza. Main were the Chirashi over rice. The Toro tuna was as good and fresh that you can enjoy besides being on the boat fresh with a note of fatty goodness that just impossible to replicate. Our Gyoza came house made with a tangy dipping sauce. The Wakame style salad with shrimp was nice and cooling with a vinegar based dressing. Karaage was fried to a golden crisp perfectly cooked with the Japanese style potatoe salad two dipping sauce all exceptionally well paired. The Chirashi over rice came in a lacquered box once you opened the artwork of the fish how it was presented was on point absolutely stunning work by the Chefs! fish all fresh and delicious also the rice was also cooked to perfection. Our Server was always on-time in rhythm he did have to climb the stairs quite a bit so bravo to the effort. We also liked the decor and walls all decorated with Japanese ornaments cool touch. Overall this was a meal to remember. We will make it a point to comeback again soon. I say check it out!
