First of all, there is one lady (I think she's Indian, not sure if she's the manager or a worker) who has the worst attitude ever. She never smiles, looks angry the whole time, and treats customers like she doesn't even want to be there. This is not the first time I've seen her like this either it's the third time, and she's always the same. Terrible customer service. Honestly, if you hate your job that much, maybe you shouldn't work with kids and parents. Second, another lady (Turkish, I believe) gave my son a haircut that was completely ruined. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she did the total opposite. She trimmed way too much, cut into the natural hairline at the back, and basically destroyed the style. It looked like she didn't even know what she was doing. For my other son, I asked for just a very small trim because I didn't want him to lose too much hair. She barely cut anything but still charged me the full price of a haircut. That's just ridiculous. So, in short: * Terrible customer service. * Workers with bad attitudes. * Unprofessional haircuts. * Way overpriced for what you get. Save yourself the stress and money don't go here. I will never bring my kids back again.

The day of the haircut I was so excited and giddy, other parents at the salon could see my joy when my son's hair was styled. I appreciated the ambience of the salon. Family oriented and kid friendly. I loved the fun products and toys they had for sale. The staff were friendly and efficient. The little tractor chair our son sat in was also a cute little touch. He was distracted by his lollipop and toy long enough for his hair to be cut. Only at the end did he fuss a little bit. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. I would love to come back and continue to maintain my son's tidy hair style. We were sent home with a little souvenir certificate of our son's first haircut, along with a little bag of his hair. I will keep this keepsake in his baby book. I totally recommend this place for getting your children's hair done!

I'm still not a fan of the overpriced junk toys but the ability to throw some colour or glitter in the kids hair keeps them asking to come back. The ball pit always seems to be out of order when we pop in - not a deal breaker but a disappointment none the less. My son is almost 8 now and for the same price he can get a kids' haircut at Tommy Guns which has video games and complimentary glass bottle pop. My daughter still asks to go back to Beaners - I think it's the bright coloured fun vibe.

A few snips of her ends. No sectioning, just her hair combed out and snipped all the way around. No wash (nothing offered, just saturated with a spray bottle) and when asked if she wanted a braid or sparkles the "stylist" was so disengaged that my daughter just said no (she loves having her hair braided and is always asking to have this done). There was just no effort made to make her feel comfortable and no enthusiasm from the stylist. To top it off, when finished the "cut" my daughters hair was not dried in anyway. You're sending children out your doors in -10 with wet hair? My daughter was in the chair for less then five minutes, not an ounce of product used and it was $20.00. I have zero talent when it comes to cutting hair but could have done the exact same thing that was done to my daughters hair. See ya never!
