After reading reviews on yelp i decided to give this salon a try, although the name of the salon is different than the one listed I am very pleased w my decision to choose this particular salon. Lindsey is very cute, and very sweet. She listened well to my concerns and what I wish to achieve with my hair. Little by little she slowly trimmed my hair, explaining in detail what and why she was doing. She was even able to explain to me why the technique that the other stylist choose to do wasn't suited for the style that I was after. Originally I had asked for an undercut to manage the bulk in the back of my short hair, she just kind of chucked, did her thing and managed to ditch the bulk without shaving the back of my head. Again very happy with my decision to visit this salon. I was only charged for the services that I was provided. After my next appointment, I loved what she did with a few foils to balance my two toned hair, let her and the desk staff know how happy I was, and left Lydia a $30.00 tip. Nine days and two shampoos later, the color had faded a lot. I called to make an appointment for Lydia to see my hair and was told grievances about color corrections had to be made within a week. I explained that I loved the color when I left the salon, but had no idea it would fade so fast after a mere two washings. I was told someone would call me back the next day. They called the next day when I was in a theater. I called them back the next day and talked with Carrie who identified herself as the manager. I wanted a shoulder length bob cut with no layers. I guesstimate that Rich cut off about 3 inches in length. My hair grows quickly and is also thick and heavy. This cut took a lot of weight off. I was satisfied with the result and it was exactly what I had asked for. Rich can also do fancier cuts and colours but lately I've been wanting a simpler style. I just came back from Studio 107 for a hair cut. It was my first visit and I'm happy to report it…read moredid not disappoint! The style is exposed beam and brick - open concept studio. I was surprised at how many salon chairs there were - about a dozen I think. I spotted a nail salon area in the back as well. The layout is spacious - you hear others around you but never feel in someone else's space or conversation. Reanna gave me a lovely haircut today complete with styled curls. She listened to my hair concerns, offered options, and checked in throughout to see if the cut and style was going as I hoped. I would definitely return here again and recommend to others. Oh and I almost forgot, there's a lovely little complimentary tea and coffee nook when you walk in :-)
