How it works is you get your hair cut and/or beard trim while they wash your car. How cool is that? While your getting your hair cut, they have a live feed of your car so you can keep eyes on it. They also do detailing which we opted to do. The quality of the hair cut and beard trim was top notch (Taylor was my hubby's barber) so good in fact family members noticed and commented!! The detailing work was a 10/10. They took almost 2 hours and it cost us $70! Trust me, you need to check these guys out. We're definitely coming back in July as we have to go to a wedding. The barber, Noel (formerly of Tidory's downtown, I think), was super friendly and instantly understood the (admittedly simple) cut I was seeking. The cut was excellent, and I appreciated the attention to detail as he finished the cut with a straight razor around the hairline. Now some men get pedicures and wear facial moisturizers, but you don't need to be a metrosexual to want a hot haircut. It's downright manly.

As I live on the south side, there are plenty of equally good places in the Whyte ave area that are much more convenient. The price is on the high end for a men's cut, especially once you added in a tip. I think it's worthwhile to spend the extra money if you have longer hair where a quality cut matters. But if you get a shorter cut, there isn't much difference between a $50 cut and a $30 cut. As I've recently been going more to shorter cuts, it didn't seem as worthwhile to make the investment in travel time and money. They do seem to be drifting away from the "man" focus. Each time I went, there seemed to be more women getting cuts there. That doesn't bug me, but I think it's maybe a sign their prices aren't matching the demand of Edmonton men.

Good quality, quick haircut at a great price…read more He's gone up to $16, but you can't blame him for that because he has to recoup some losses from being forced to close by the province early on in the pandemic last year along with all the other barber shops. Also the building he's located in also flooded recently and he had to close down then as well until the landlord cleaned it up. But at least then he was remaining open at a nearby female hair salon. Really the only negative is he doesn't accept credit cards, cash or debit only, but this is in large part why he can keep his prices so cheap. Otherwise he'd be over $20 like most other barber shops. Personally I give him a $20 and let him keep the change as a tip, because he deserves it and could use it too.
