My family has had a seasonal site there for about 8 years and were model campers, no noise complaints, kept to ourselves, always friendly to other campers. We decided to sell our camper since we weren't going as much (kids too busy on weekends) and our arrangement was to move the camper to the front where other campers were kept that were for sale. 3 weeks before we were supposed to move it we were told they didn't have space. We were going to pay to keep it on our regular site (we had no where to put it) but were told they gave our site away. We made arrangements with them to have the owner tow the camper to another location. The day before I received a very nasty phone call from Janet, the owner, screaming at me, extremely rude telling me they didn't have time to move the camper and it was "my problem, not hers" and if I didn't have it off the site by the next morning, she would have it towed by the garbage man. Not only were we good campers all of those years, but we also donated hundreds of dollars over the years to their Make-A-Wish fundraisers. We noticed this year that many of the seasonal campers are gone, and I have no doubt it is because of how people are treated by this woman. She is nasty and does not appreciate her customers. As far as the campground goes, it has been going down hill for a few years - the pool rarely has a lifeguard, the electricity doesn't work well when there are a lot of campers there (meaning no air conditioning in the summer), and the area where they serve food is always filled flies crawling on everything. We will never be back. read more
